A few years ago we had John and his crew replace our old and worn basement windows and were very happy with the work they did. Last summer we needed to have our roof replaced along with a couple windows in the garage. We again called John to come take a look and write up an estimate. Within a couple days we had our estimate and a slate of samples and colors to choose from, along with some suggestions based on the color of our house and the kind of a look we were trying to achieve. The job took a couple of days to finish and our house looks amazing!! The crew was fabulous -- very friendly, respectful, and professional. The area around our house was kept neat and tidy. You would not have known by looking at the area around our house that a major project was in the works. When all was finished, we stepped back to look at our house and couldn't be happier with choosing John as our contractor!

Over the last five years we've had JMR do three different projects for us on our mid-80s raised ranch here in St. Cloud. The largest was a single story addition to the north side of the house that allowed us to finally appreciate our large backyard using large windows and including hardwood floors and details, gas fireplace and a new deck. This project convinced us that JMR was the best choice for a master bed/bath remodel project that included a second-floor bump out and steam shower install a year or two later. Both of these remodels were done to spec and both allowed the DIY-er in me to participate fully in the design and work. His crews were outstanding in their openness to questions and suggestions, and their willingness to let me get my hands dirty. I also firmly believe that John and his crews genuinely want to be proud of their work and aren't afraid of going the extra mile to make that happen. The last project showed JMR's ability to respond to an emergency. We discovered extensive water damage where our old deck had been poorly joined to the house when it was built 25 years ago. John came immediately to see what I'd found and immediately set in motion the replacement of the rotted rim joist, plate, siding, and sliding door. He also figured out how to rescue the deck itself without needing to replace the whole shebang. JMR's flexibility and ingenuity in dealing with the many gnarly situations that pop up when doing this kind of work is their strongest suit. So, what's next for our humble abode? Whatever it is, JMR will be the folks that make it happen. Craftmanship was excellent. Followup was a problem. Great insight into creating a space that exceeded our expectations. estimate and true cost very close. Employees are professional and personable. Sub contractors were top notch. The only barrier is that he is so busy that billing and returning calls was frustrating.

John was a great person to have in the insurance process. He was able to help direct myself in working with the adjuster so I was able to get a fair settlement. John educated me on my rights of a property owner, how to handle the process and get what was owed towards the project .He also made sure the project was done and completed on time for final payment from insurance company.
