It has been well over a year now that Shawn has finished my detached garage on our new home. We have had several contractors and builders work on our new-construction home over the last couple of years, and Moffitt Custom Homes was FAR superior to their peers. 1) Ownership: Shawn takes complete ownership of the job; he treats that job as if it were his home. He holds his people accountable and is always present when he promises to be. It was nice to have a builder that I could trust to get everything done even if I wasn't there. 2) Trust: Shawn is extremely personable and creates a relationship of trust; he genuinely wants his customers to be satisfied with the finished product. I have 3 young boys, and times are hectic. You can tell Shawn is a family man, was flexible to our crazy schedule (including nap times), and always took the time to say hello to my kids. They loved when Mr. Shawn would come over to check on progress! 3) Quality: Shawn has high expectations for quality. If there ever was a time in which he was not satisfied in the work product, he would, on his own time, come by to fix the issue HIMSELF; there are not too many homebuilders that would come by with a grinder, get on his hands and knees for hours, and ensure a garage door fit perfectly flush with the slab. I have found that it I am willing to pay a premium for a contractor that genuinely cares, is honest, sticks to his word, and can actually make my life easier. I would without hesitation use Moffitt Custom Homes for future projects and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to find a homebuilder with the above qualities, which in my experience, are hard to come by.

Thanks to Moffitt Custom Homes I have my dream home!! I had a lot of ideas going into the build and Shawn respected that creativity and worked with me on choices and materials that fit my concepts. Building through COVID was tough - but Shawn and team got it done! Couldn't be happier with my home.
