After looking for quality lights in our area, Eichen's had exactly what we were looking for. Check them out first if you want to find lights you won't find elsewhere.

Over the past several months I have watched the transformation of Eichen's Lighting from a dreary lighting showroom to one of the nicest displays of decorative lighting in the Bay Area. The store has been completely cleaned up with new paint, both inside and out, new flooring and, most importantly, new displays from the top lighting manufacturers in the country. The store has hundreds of beautiful lighting fixtures that range from traditional to very modern and the staff is very helpful and really seem to know their products.

My husband and I stopped by Eichen's last month just to look at what they have to offer since I heard they recently have a new owner. We were looking for 2 interior chandeliers, 2 pendents for our kitchen counter, an exterior light outside our main entrance and a few light bulbs. To my surprise, they have a HUGE selection! I meant HUGE! From classic Victorian to modern Restoration hardware style, Kate Spade, Tiffany style...you name it! Gilbert (the new owner) is a pleasure to work with, we did not purchase anything during our first visit, since we need to decide what works well in our house, but they printed out a bunch of designs and measurements for us. After a couple weeks of thinking and looking around, we made our purchase at Eichen's. They did an amazing job installing the lights, very professional. I can't keep my eyes off my new chandeliers. My husband and I are both impressed with how they stand behind their product and service.

As we go through the upgrade process for our home we're excited! The staff have access to an incredible amount of quality and value added fixtures. The store presentation has us energized as for once we have a lighting store that is not an eclectic display of yester year. Based on our dealings to date we are expecting a seamless follow thru once our final decisions are made.

'wow'' they really did a great make over on this place, The new owner has done a great job. I've stopped by in the past, but found it to be old fashioned. They have a perfect selection to suit every clients needs, friendly staff, parking, they will even match online pricing. I live in San Francisco and It's well worth the drive for me.

Coming to the end of my remodel in Millbrae. I went to Eichen's for my lighting needs. They have a beautiful gallery style showroom, free parking and Ted was great to work with. I had him come to the house to get his input. The ceiling fixtures and sconces were by Hubbardton Forge, Kate Spade, Thomas O'Brien, and Suzanne Kessler with Holtkoetter chosen for some task lighting in my project room. Overall a really "bright" experience. The installed lighting is gorgeous!

During a recent visit to Eichen's I found a variety of wonderful lighting fixtures that put the finishing touches on a long-term interior project. It was my first visit to their showroom, which I understand has been recently modified; I saw attractive, high quality products that I had not seen in other showrooms. Eichler's prices were very competitive and the staff was patient and helpful. I will return there soon, for my next project at my Tahoe home.

My old lighting fixtures really didn't do justice to the rest of the decor. Eichen's, an established business very nicely updated, was convenient. The staff was very helpful, the prices very competitive. It's all contemporary lighting of obviously good quality and in good taste. I had no trouble whatever in getting the items I wanted. I'd give it a bit better than 4 stars, say 4.5 and will recommend it to others.

This is my new go to for a wide range of lighting. It has recently changed hands and the showroom has been revamped and is now a beautiful clean and bright space that nicely highlights all the beautiful fixtures and brands they showcase. there are lots of online sources, but It's really important to actually see a light fixture before buying it as it can look completely different. Eichen's price matches to the internet and has a generous trade program, so it is a no brainer! The new owner is very friendly, and extremely helpful! The Bay Area surprisingly lacks good lighting showrooms and it takes less time to get there from SF than it does to drive the 7 miles across town, so it's definitely worth it.

Eichen's Lighting is fabulous. A great find for the Bay Area, where I struggled to get good service and a good price. Not to name other stores, but the prominent lighting store in SF has repeatedly been rude and non communicative once I've placed an order, likely because I'm not a designer or have huge orders, but I'm a paying customer that deserves respect. Eichen's on the other hand in locally owned and you get the attention and help you deserve, no matter who you are. They have an amazing selection and their staff are super knowledgeable and will help you find exactly what you're looking for, even if they have to order it. The new showroom is gorgeous and helps bring ideas to life, which is important since Lighting is 3-dimensional and magazine/online doesn't do it justice. The best part is that they are open on the weekends, making it easy for me to shop and pick up deliveries while not taking time off work.
