We have been lucky enough to have Modern build our home, and then when we needed a contractor modern inc was the first to respond to our call. Actually the only one. Additionally, everyone remembered us personally when we called the office from our house build. Modern has a rich history which we grew to know through our many talks with Brians parents during our home build. Modern Inc is sure to continue that legacy given the outstanding job on our refinished floors, paint, and even feeding our fish while we were away (Thanks Steve). It is so nice to work with a company that values relationships and takes pride in their work. The work was scheduled to begin at the end of March 2020 and we encountered Covid closings. Brian and his team went above and beyond, safety was the first priority of their team members as well as us as homeowners. We cannot thank you enough for the excellent work on home and look forward to continuing many other projects throughout the years. This is a company I highly recommend, above all others for their commitment to service, relationships, community, and quality.

Had severe storm damage to our home on May 2nd - in excess of $50k in damages. Pondering who to call, my husband suggested we contact Modern Contractors who had done great work for us in the past. Brian was here when the insurance adjustor came to inspect the house. He was able to answer her questions as well as point some things out that he had noticed. We had a check to start repairs that same day and Brian was already moving on lining up ways to give our job top priority. Our house looks fantastic - work was done quickly and professionally - any questions or concerns were addressed promptly and we are done while others in the neighborhood are still waiting for repairs to begin. We needed a second story addition on our home to suit our growing family and were referred to Modern Contractors from a friend who had a large project completed by them. We had a strict budget and the team at Modern Contractors was great to deal from the design to the completion. We also added a couple items and were still within our budget. A+ all around!

We recently completed an addition to the second story of our house with Modern Contractors. We could not be happier with the final result. The addition looks beautiful and like it was always there. Brian and his team were easy to work with. He did a great job of listening to our ideas and making suggestions based on his experience. The workers who came to our house were nice and completed quality work. Brian did a great job of making sure everything was completed correctly.

We hired Modern Contractors to remodel our fireplace. They were professional from start to finish! Everyone who came to work on it was prompt, courteous, careful not to mess the house, and skilled at their profession. Brian was very helpful and patient with answering my questions and making sure I was informed every step of the way. He stayed on top of his team and checked in frequently (he didn't just disappear until the job was finished - he was part of it at each step). I couldn't be happier with my experience and will definitely look into using them for other projects. I highly recommend them!

I am quite the picky customer and Brian and his team were good about meeting my various demands. My bathroom is just as I imagined.

Modern Contractors replaced some of our windows and remodeled the master bath. From the time Brian gave us the estimate to finish, they were professional, courteous and easy to work with. Brian is easy to reach for any questions or issues and we were always able to resolve problems that came up during the construction. The subcontractors were also great to work with, nice people. Brian came on budget and whatever went over the original estimate was because of our material selection. He also let us know in advance how much things were going to be over so I knew exactly where we were tracking. I never felt like they were upselling me or pressuring us to spend more money. I highly recommend Modern Contractors if you are considering a remodel. It's hard to find nice and honest contractors who actually know what they are doing.

We hired Modern Contractors to redo our master bath and add a laundry room to our second floor. We were pleased with the entire process. Brian provided a detailed and accurate estimate/time line. He visited each day there was work being done at the house and had a good working relationship with the various parties working on the project (electricians, plumbers, tilers, etc...) All work was completed professionally and to our expectations. Brian was always quick to respond to questions, phone calls and emails. He has also continued to follow up with us after the project was completed when we had questions. I would highly recommend Modern Contractors to anyone needing work done at their home or business.

Modern Contractors (MC) remodeled the two full bathrooms in my house as well as completion work on the 1/2 bath. The initial estimate was clearly presented and my additional updates/requests were completed at a fair cost. Brian was very easy to work with and took a hands on approach to all aspects of the process. The bathrooms turned out beautiful and I would recommend MC to anyone looking at an update to their home.
