i've worked with A LOT of contractors and Mike/MLW really ranks among the best of the best. i contacted Mike for work on my balcony after a previous botched job from a bad contractor. Mike was extremely knowledgable, honest, and helpful. Mike had 100% integrity and went out of his way to help me even though he ultimately referred me to another contractor who met my needs better (most contractors aren't that honest)!

Mike rebuilt our deck and staircase in February 2011. He did an excellent job at a reasonable price in the timeframe stated. On a Sunday, three years after the job was complete, we noticed a loose step on the staircase and contacted Mike. He showed up at our house an hour later, repaired the step in 15 minutes and refused any payment for the repair. You just don't find that kind of customer servicer and dependability very often these days.
