WOW 1 DAY PAINTING

We booked with Wow One Day painting because they told us that they could get our house painted before our movers came; we had a short time between closing and moving. Even though it was $4,600 which seemed a bit high we booked. I think they lost us because I called to confirm thinking it was weird that they hadn't. I spoke with someone named "Lee" who said that the schedule was busier than expected and they had to push it out a day. I was annoyed but at that point didn't have time to call someone else. Well, the next day they called to push out another 2 days. In fact when Lee called me to push it out he said "The lady who I had to reschedule to make room for you was fine about it but her husband was mean to me." I guess he didn't expect me to be "mean" as a female. I don't know. In any case I was livid and told him that so they agreed to come with a small crew but said it would likely take 2 days. That next day we showed up early to the new house to let their small crew in. They were no shows/ no call that day. When we called they tried to push it out another day saying they hadn't been able to get a crew together. I fired them at this point. I have told our realtor about this experience and plan to share it to all home improvement sites I can find. If they didn't have enough painters they should not have accepted the job which would have given me the opportunity to call other people; instead they took on a job they couldn't finish and I lost my opportunity to shop around. Now I am stuck with a house full of furniture and an 18 month old to finagle while getting the house painted. Not only was their handling of this unprofessional it was inconsiderate. Stay far away from Wow 1 Day if you are in a crunch and I would say at all given this shady practice of accepting work they cannot complete.

As a real estate agent giving someone's name for a referral effects me personally. Before i give out someone's name I use their service myself. I want to say that Mike from Wow 1 day painting exceeded my expectations and worked with my quick time frame. I wouldn't hesitate to refer him to my past clients or anyone!
