MIX Vintage

I am a working artist living in Asheville, NC, and have been collecting art, home furnishings and accessories, for many years, and from many different sources. There is a sense of history in my home, and in fact, much of my furniture has been inherited from my Grandparents and Great Aunt Lillian, purchased at flea markets and the Good Will, and collected over time. After moving to Asheville from Atlanta, I discovered the Screen Door, and have been a patron from day one. I was immediately drawn to Michele's sense of style. Her collections have always appealed to me - the layering of eras, in comfortable, livable rooms. I literally bumped into her one dat at SD, and there was an immediate connection. She is extremely knowledgable, and is a delight to work with. MIX Vintage is her dream come true, an off-shoot of her space at Screen Door. Every time I visit the shop it feels like a different place. And it feels GOOD. Just like you want your home to feel.

MIX is one of my favorite places to shop. Michele has great style, everything she finds is so unique and beautiful. The pieces I've bought from MIX has made my home really special.

I discovered Michelle when I was building a cabin in Burnsville NC. She made the effort to drive 45 miles to consult on site.. She has unique style and is an excellent editor. We all like so many "looks" but not all reinforce our architectural intentions. Even as an architect, I benefited from her insights and resources.

Great taste and a keen eye for style, Mix Vintage is our go to place for mid-century classics. We love the chairs we purchased a few years ago and really enjoy visiting her shop in Ashevile to see her latest finds. Always professional, Michelle is a pleasure to do business with.
