We have had the fortune to use Arlen twice and would do so again. He remodeled our Master bath and it was gorgeous. Then we moved a short distance away and ended to redo the Master bath, the kitchen, the cellar and build in some custom book cases. It took a while, but the craftsmanship and professionalism of Arlen and his team are top notch. They clean up their work, every single day

We had a small, but challenging project, which MIller Home Improvements did a fantastic job with. We are extremely impressed by their level of attention to detail, and the overall finish work - in the end it came out even better than we could have asked for! We plan to later work with Arlen and his team for Kitchen and Bath remodels, and anything else that our home needs along the way.

We hired Arlen Miller to help refurbish a very old building for a small private school. He was very professional in his estimate, timing and working within a very limited budget. Each person working for Mr. Miller met and exceeded our expectations for politeness, professionalism and hard work. The finish work again, more than met our hopes. I just saw I could include photos, however we didn't think to take before shots. I wish we would have. I also think it is worthwhile to mention they were able to work on old plaster walls and ceilings, which I am told is difficult.

I have seen the alpha and the omega of contracting, and Miller Home Improvements is the best I can remember having ever worked with. There were difficulties with scheduling due to a delay in material delivery, but I do not think that was Miller Home Improvement's fault. In every other way, their promises, continuing communication, and quality of work was top rate.

I have engaged the services of Miller Home Improvements over the past seven years for a wide variety of services. The first and largest job was the replacement of all the windows in our home, including some custom work. Other jobs included the successful replacement of a large french door that had been installed by a different contractor earlier in a fashion that damaged structural components of the house, a complete roof replacement, and modifications to flashing and gutters. MHI has always done superb work, has always returned promptly to address any issues, and has demonstrated a rare degree of caring and honesty in all regards.

Miller Home Improvements has done two projects for us: a master bathroom remodel, and converting a screened-in porch to a year round sunroom. They took an original 1973 bathroom and remodeled it into a beautiful, updated bathroom. It was a complete gut job necessitating moving walls, moving plumbing, moving electrical, basically building from the ground up. The sunroom project required taking down a screened-in porch and putting in floor to ceiling windows, electrical wiring, heating and air conditioning, and exterior siding. Arlen Miller is professional, talented, and a man of integrity. He replied to phone calls or emails very quickly and never made me feel that my concerns were a bother. He was ready with advice and suggestions, yet always listened me and worked with my vision. He carefully checked the work of sub contractors and, if it didn't meet his standards, he made them do it again. I appreciate his high standard of workmanship. We have recommended him to several of our friends, who have hired him and also been very pleased with the results.

I learned of Miller Home Improvements when they subcontracted on some remodeling work I had done. Their excellent work installing a window as a subcontractor led me to use them to replace another window. Again, excellent craftsmanship and tremendously positive attitude led me back to them when I decided to wrap all the exposed wood on the exterior of my house and replace all the shutters. I then used Miller Home Improvement as a general contractor for some exterior painting and roof repair. I have recommended, and will continue to recommend, Miller Home Improvements to others. I only wish I had know of this company when I did extensive interior remodeling a couple of years ago. Arlen Miller is honest, fair, a true professional, and a down-right nice guy.

Matched and replaced several external cedar panels that go back to the early 19hundreds when our kitchen was sided. Repaired two cutouts that were made to the external panels to solve plumbing problems. In addition, they removed and replaced a split ceiling in our dining room bay window.

Arlen Miller and his crew remodeled two bathrooms and our kitchen and did a superb job. Everything was removed including ceilings, fixtures, drywall, and in one room, a window was moved. Often he had to do some creative problem solving because of problems with our existing older home. He helped to maximize our space and storage. I was particularly pleased with the woodwork that was done including built in shelves, beadboard, crown molding etc. When I wasn't sure what would look best, Arlen would suggest various things and even bring in samples for me to see ahead of time. He'd send me links to pictures on houzz and other sites as well. After our home, Arlen did an extensive remodel on our daughter's circa 1900 home and its just gorgeous. The entire Miller Crew was clean, courteous, timely and honest. Their character and workmanship is sterling and I highly recommend them.
