Midland Architecture

We're currently in mid-construction of renovating a 100 yr old apartment building. We used Midland for all of our architectural design needs. Our goals were to maximize space, modernize the floor plan, and utilize design features that will attract our target market. They've been a great resource for helping us manage the ongoing project as well, especially in designing the finishings. We find their approach to be both progressive and acutely pragmatic. They know all the trends shown in the magazines and they know how to accomplish them. More importantly, they know where to spend money and where not to! They do all this without talking over or above you. It's a great working relationship and we couldn't be more satisfied!

It has been a pleasure working with Midland Architecture. Vital to the desired outcome of a dream kitchen, Greg and his team listen to their clients and are able to clearly relay their vision to us. They demonstrate creativity and are not afraid to think outside of the design box. We always look forward to working on projects with Midland Architecture.

I was honored to work on a landscape masterplan for a residential renovation done by Midland Architecture. I was impressed by the firm's ability to express their design concepts verbally and through sketch. Special attention was paid to detail which I also feel is important in design.

My husband and I have been working with Greg Dutton of Midland Architecture for well over a year now. We came to Greg with the difficult task of coming up with plans to renovate our 100 year old house. We are a family in transition, with high school and college aged children. We wanted to add some useful, comfortable space that would accommodate our kids but also would not feel vast to just the two of us when they moved out in a few years Greg thoughtfully and patiently came up with amazingly beautiful plans. It has ben a long process due to my husband and I changing our minds quite a few times. Greg has risen to the challenge each and every time! He is a very calming presence, even when we're asking him to make last minute adjustments! Greg has also been assisting us in managing this project. This has been worth it's weight in gold! He has been integral in interviewing contractors and helping us ask the right questions. Greg is knowledgable and resourceful and works hard to get the right people on the job. His management skills are excellent. I breathe a lot easier knowing that he is with us every step of the way! Our project should be complete sometime in June of 2015 and we are beyond excited!! It has been an incredible experience to see Greg's beautiful plans coming to life!

I am a contractor and have worked with Midland Architecture on a few projects. First thing I would like to mention is their attention to detail for bringing a high quality job for there customers. Also as a contractor I like that they are willing to listen to what I am thinking and are not closed minded. In my opinion Midland Architecture is a very professional company and have been a pleasure to work with so far. If you are looking to hire them for a project you won't be disappointed.
