We hired Michelangelo’s to remodel our finished basement to create a spa-like bathroom and a large home-office out of three small rooms. We were so impressed by Angelo and his crew every step of the way that we decided to add another project, an upstairs bathroom remodel, which Angelo was able to pull off on a short notice! Angelo is truly a pleasure to work with; he is very responsive to your questions and concerns, very knowledgeable, goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with the results. Every aspect of the job was top-notch with impeccable attention to detail, using best quality materials. Angelo and his team possess not only highest quality professional skills, but also a great taste and artistic vision. Every suggestion they made with respect to layouts, color combinations, trims, tiles and every other detail, had worked incredibly well. Lalo’s tile work is a work of art! We are very happy with Michaelangelo painting and contracting. They recently renovated our rental. The company's owner cared about our feedback, answered calls in a timely manner, and offered us good solutions. He is very professional, kind, and resourceful, and wants to make sure clients are happy. A big plus for me is that they use non-toxic materials because they care about their health, their clients', and the environment. Because of previous neglect by other tenants and bad repair work done by other people, my apartment would have been a nightmare to live in if it hadn't been for Angelo's help --and his crew. Now I'm looking forward to living in it!

Everyone I’ve met to date, who has gone through a major renovation, has had nothing but complaints about their contractors. I worked with Angelo Goncalves of MichaelAngelo Painting + Contracting for 6 months on a gut renovation in Brooklyn Heights and I can’t express enough how incredible he was during the entire process. He helped me with design ideas, sourced high quality materials – tiles, appliances, cabinets, etc. at amazing prices, brought highly skilled workers who were equally nice and considerate. He also dealt with several extremely difficult neighbors with grace and went WAY beyond the call of duty on numerous occasions. He was a saint every step of the way and when he finished I had the dream home I had envisioned for years. I can’t recommend Angelo more highly!

Painting pros! Had a relatively simple paint job- 3 accent walls and a need to do a color match. Angelo personally oversaw the work and was completed on time, on budget and was a pleasure to interact with. Fully recommend and would invite back for future work.

Contacted Angelo regarding painting some accent walls in my new apartment. Angelo was very friendly and clearly knew what he was talking about in our conversation. He gave a fair estimate and was very responsive. He was able to pick up the paint for us (matching to paint colors we had picked out) and schedule everything on a very short time frame. He was super professional and did a great job in a quicker time frame than we had even expected. We would definitely call Angelo again for another project!

Angelo is currently doing his second job in my home that involves repairing and then painting our Brooklyn Heights brownstone co-op. He is the only contractor whose painting meets my husband who was a painter in the Local DC9 union's high standards, and i have to agree - as a real estate professional, I know that whenever I list something that Angelo designed and renovated, I expect multiple bids and a contract out after the first open house!

Angelo is a highly skilled contractor, and both he and his employees are perfectionists. He runs a clean work environment, is very efficient, and completes his work on time or ahead of schedule. We can't recommend Angelo and his team enough! When faced with a massive gas leak, Angelo come into our Brownstone coop to repair all the opened walls, and did a perfect paint job. I found this Angelo and his company very helpful and easy to work with, professional, courteous, timely and zero complaints. They painted various rooms with detailed moldings in my home. The cost was comparable and they used good quality Benjamin Moore Paints. Very detailed and clean. Paint job looks great. I will definitely hire them for additional work.
