Not only is she an amazing painter, but also a master of mosaic art. We have worked with Mia on several design projects. I was a model/subject for one of Mia's paintings in the early 2000s, it was one of several created as a series featuring women representing strength, beauty and femininity. I was nude, draped in rich, red fabric, and emerging from (or conversely, becoming a part of) a blooming rose. It should also be noted that I am a fine art dealer, and although I had collaborated with other artists to varying degrees, I had never been so intimately involved in the artistic process from beginning to end. As a result of these two factors, I had even greater appreciation of her professionalism, vision, and skill. In my opinion, Mia is a Master Artist, arguably one of the greatest talents not only of her generation but including all contemporary painters, worldwide. It should also be noted I purchased this painting, along with my husband, as a mutual wedding gift. It is the highlight of my collection.

Unlike a framed canvas that can be moved around with relative ease a mosaic mural has to stand the test of time in terms of its relationship with its surroundings. Choosing Mia to create our "Art in Public Places" in Laguna Beach was a decision we will never regret - she is the consummate professional, and dedicates herself to connect with the need behind the need - above all she is so very very talented, her work is nothing short of stunning and easily capable of bringing one to one's knees. No hesitation, she was on time and treated our money like it was hers.

Mia did a huge hand painted mural for our Gourmet Market back in 2007. Her art speaks to people all over the world in so many ways. A beautiful woman with an amazing gift. I recommend her highly. You will not be disappointed.
