I am a designer and have been working with Philippe for eight years. His work is outstanding...a true professional! Anything that you need done he can do it. You can be as creative as you want. His pricing is fair and he and his staff are an absolute treasure to be around. I can not say enough good things about Philippe.

There is a reason for the name of this company, Meticuleux. Philippe is meticulous in all of his work!!! He is extremely professional. But for me, what makes him stand out above the rest is his character. He's fair, hard working, and as honest as the day is long. Having had my own interior design resource firm for more than twenty years (retired now), I have worked with more than a dozen designers (with wide ranging styles, personalities, and methodologies, both commercial and residential, as well as many installers from independent contractors to corporate installers. We tackled everything from Embassies to apartments. I can say, unequivocally, Philippe Varron is the best installer I have ever worked with. In addition to his expertise and experience, his unfailingly polite and patient demeanor, combined with his strong work ethic allowed me to send him out on the most complex or sensitive projects with no fears. We regularly worked with fabrics that cost in excess of 250/yard, so that's saying something. He is fully capable of taking detailed architectural measurements, installations of single and two story window treatments, cornices and medallions, upholstery and re-upholstery of custom headboards, cornices, coronas, etc. I am also familiar with his staff, who, being of similar temperament, are expert sewers and who can take a designer's idea and translate it into a beautiful finished product. They understand the complexities that come into play on simple as well as ornate shades, swags, panels, shams, coverlets, duvets, etc. They will always ask before cutting. They will always make sure that you understand the ramifications of the choices you make so that there are no surprises. No one can alter physics, but they are very resourceful in coming up with ways around tricky problems. In short, given all the things that can go wrong with a design project, if you live in the Northern Virginia area and need someone you can trust to help you execute, Meticuleux is who you need to call.

I highly recommend Meticuleux to anybody needing to have their furniture reupholstered. I have an old round chair (40 in. diameter) that had wheels falling off of it and badly in need of being reupholstered. Meticuleux provided me a very fair estimate, picked up the chair from my residence and did a stunning job reupholstering it! I was amazed at the level of detail they put into it and how quickly they completed the work that needed to be done. I provided them the fabric and they even used the extra fabric to make matching pillows for it. They also replaced the wheels with better quality wheels and added an extra wheel to give it more stability. The attention to detail in their workmanship, their outstanding customer service and friendliness are a combination for being the best of the best!
