Yves of Meldy Construction Renovation Inc. just completed a large renovation of our "new to us" home. I have found him to be a talented, meticulous worker, skilled in many of the building trades and well connected to other professionals for skills that he doesn't do himself. He actually did a large part of the work before we moved in and while we were still not even in Ottawa. Everything he has done for us has been top quality, excellent craftsmanship. He is easy to work with, and very reliable I don't hesitate to recommend him.

Meldy Construction came highly recommended by a trusted friend who had hired them for several jobs. Throughout the entire project, Yves, the owner, was engaged and attentive. He returned phone calls and texts promptly and met his time commitments - from the initial stages of providing a quote right through to sign off of the completed work. Yves listened carefully to my list of requirements and made some invaluable recommendations when he perceived I was in over my head. He was accommodating to the other trades involved in the project - and was still able to complete the job before the projected deadline and on budget. Since I remained in my home during the upgrade, I witnessed firsthand the long work days Yves and his crew put in to make my vision a reality. They treated the work as though they were in their own home - with that level of care and attention to detail. It is six months since the contract was finished and I am still delighted every day at the incredible transformation Meldy made in my home.

We needed a professional who; showed up, on time; understoods and is knowledgeable in ALL aspects of the job - from framing, to electrical, to flooring, to carpentry and cabinetry, etc.; understands that challenges arise and knows how to deal with them; is meticulous in the execution; and, is insistent that the home owner knows what's happening, daily. Yves Perrault is a rare find in the renovation industry. We have used him for three projects and would hire him again without hesitation.

I had hired Meldy Construction to refinish an office building that i had purchased and they did such a great job, in record time, that i had them refinish my house as well. The entire building of 7500 square feet of office space and my entire home of over 5000 square feet was redone by Meldy Construction over a period of 6 years and we have gotten numerous compliments on the workmanship. This is one of those rare quality contractors who takes pride in his work and i would recommend him highly.

I had witnessed Yves' craftmanship at a friend's house. When it came time to renovate my 3 bathrooms, without hesitation, I called upon his services. What can I say, his attention to details, to the finishing touches, are of superiority. He is not only meticulous but also provides sound advise. Although, I had designed all 3 rooms, his excellent sense of vision added that extra sparkle. All and all, he is ponctual, reliable and a skilled professional.

We have hired Meldy Construction numerous times over the past 5 years. Yves has remodeled 2 bathrooms (including the ensuite) and has undertaken a large kitchen renovation ( including removing structural walls). Each renovations have been done on time and on budget. What we liked about Yves is his integrity ,honesty and work ethic. I would not hesitate to recommend Yves to others.
