McKinley Square Home

Sanné (pronounced Senn-YAY), proprietor at McKinley Square Design, guided us to a home that is more beautiful and comfortable than we’d ever achieved before. We enjoy sitting in each room and looking into the next, seeing how coherent the style and color scheme are. She incorporated art work and furniture that we brought with us to our new home and then added artistic insights that we wouldn’t have been brave enough to try but that are warm and comfortable additions. Sanné is sort of like a human “Pandora.” Start with something you love and she will add to it and extend it to rugs and lamps and paint colors and window coverings and furniture and even throw pillows that you wouldn’t have thought of. Sometimes, she’ll bring a lamp or table you don’t think you want and just leave it in your home for a week; you might grow to love it, but if you don’t, she’ll take it back and her knowledge of what to try next grows exponentially as she hones in on your taste. After a couple of hits and misses, this magnificent look starts to emerge, and it’s as if you came up with it yourself, because it is totally your style. Of course, this kind of iterative process takes time. It’s not something that happens on a strict deadline like those decorate overnight TV shows. We enjoyed the organic and evolutionary development of our home’s style over several months. It was engaging, and we learned a lot about our taste and about what a talented designer can contribute. Sanné found light fixtures, both antique and contemporary rugs, and both small and large tables that are unlike anything we’ve seen. We found her pricing on such pieces much better than we’ve experienced elsewhere. The store at McKinley Square is a good window into Sanné’s eclectic taste and aesthetic, but she has access to a lot of options beyond what’s there. We bought some things as presented and a few custom pieces. She tied in pieces that we didn’t think would “go” by adding a complementary border or other element. Guests regularly observe that our home looks like what they see in magazines, yet we find it peaceful and relaxing for both entertaining and alone time. It’s amazing how she provided most of the design ideas, yet we feel proud of what we accomplished because it looks like our style, not somebody else’s.

LeSanne Lindborg of McKinley Square Homek Design is a skillful and creative designer with great ideas and the ability to realize her vision. She has helped transform both my interior and exterior spaces. She is a perfectionist who sees to every detail of a project until every element of the design is fully realized. I recommend her highly.

I really enjoy working with the owner and designer LeSanné because of her natural, organic unforced design process and her ability to really tune in to the clients personality. She must be psychic as it seems she knows what the clients want even if they don't yet know really. Not only is she great with personalized decor that feels as if the owner has collected it from around the world over a lifetime, her talents extend to structural remodeling, landscape design, engineered interior painting design that makes a room different and special, and custom furniture design. Sanné's energy and passion for art and design are very inspiring - she knows how to get you really excited about perfecting your living space!

McKinley Square Home Design and owner/designer LeSanne Lindborg are amazing! LeSanne has designed and advised on both my interior and exterior design needs. On the inside, she has remodeled my bathroom -- including designing an exquisite granite tile floor, completed my living room and dining room with the perfect furnishings, lighting and designer touches. On the outside, she found some antique iron gates, had them refinished and used them as the basis for redesigned driveway gates, side gates and banisters. She also supervised the color selection and exterior painting of my house and designed unique front "shutters" that tie everything together. My house is the gem of the neighborhood -- both inside and out!

I redecorated a living room and sitting room to my complete satisfaction. It took a couple of months to finish and looks perfect!
