Worst experience with McCarron who was then bought by Lux holdings. From delays in fitting kitchen and hundreds of emails later, we are still waiting for them to come rectify the shoddy worktop they fitted and sort out other problems. I have been emailing them since 2019. I get apologies but every time somebody promised to help me they run into problems with management who won’t authorise things to be corrected. There is zero aftercare. They will happily take your money and their service before you pay is excellent. Once you pay they take months to reply. I am trying to get them to come fix the issues for over 3 years.

Building our new house and selected McCarron to build our kitchen. What a mistake. Paid a significant amount in full in May 2021, as they require payment upfront in full, it is now 19th November 2021 and our kitchen is still only half built. Problems at all stages from design errors, to a six week delay announced two days before they were due on site. Then months more of delays without apology. Ongoing issues with promised deliveries not turning up for weeks on end. Fitters busting a water pipe. An island designed 10 cm too long for a single piece of stone. Phone call after phone call and emails go unanswered. We are broken from the effort of trying to get it finished. The company is in disarray and no one takes responsibility. I would advise anyone looking for a high end kitchen that they do not buy from Lux Group!

We wanted a kitchen that had the feel of furniture with a contemporary edge. Richard McGee achieved this by using a great mix of materials and design. Walnut cabinets and open shelves, stone worktops and brass trims gives the kitchen the open relaxed feel we wanted. The focal point is the angled island which cleverly has all the advantages of a galley kitchen with added room making the kitchen a pleasure to cook in and truly social space. Richard’s passion for the project to succeed was a real inspiration for us achieving our dream home. The added suggestions and input to the project design created a more interesting and innovative space which in turn gives the kitchen the perfect setting and helps lift our house renovation to a different level. We couldn’t be more pleased with the result McCarron achieved for us in design and quality with that extra level of care that delivered more than expected.

We were very fortunate to come across McCarron & Co very early on in our search for a kitchen. From that kitchen, we progressed to having their input and designs in almost every room in the house. Working with Richard McGee and the whole team resulted in us creating a dream home for which the cabinetry has received great praise. They went beyond the call of duty to give us perfection. We would reccommend them very highly indeed.

We had our kitchen ordered from McCarron’s Notting Hill Gate Showroom and we were beyond pleased by the service and quality of their work. They helped us come up with a design that fit the personality of our house, whilst meting all our needs. Brilliant Company.

McCarron and Co were used in our renovation project to complete five rooms including a beautiful, bespoke kitchen. We can't thank the team enough for all the hard work, persistence and attention to detail in getting everything exactly as we hoped for. We are thrilled with all the rooms, especially the kitchen which is an absolute luxury to live, work and spend our family time in, on a daily basis. Overall, McCarron were a pleasure to work with, showing great patience, understanding and flexibility delivering beautiful products in a thoroughly calm and professional manner!

So so happy with our fabulous quality new kitchen from Mccarrons. They have been so easy to work with and extremely professional/ helpful right through from design, delivery to installation AND aftercare. They have been hugely accommodating with all our requests and any issues we have had (all small, minor ones). I wouldn't hesitate in using them again or recommending them to others. My husband and I interviewed five top kitchen companies in London, and ended up with a shortlist of two. In the end, Mark Brook of McCarron was by far the most professional, practical and imaginative of all the kitchen designers we spoke to. He was also the best listener. He was the only designer who took careful notes of all our concerns and ideas, and came back with drawings that indicated he remembered our conversation and indicated exactly where various kitchen items would go. He stayed involved with the project throughout and was always extremely responsive, either answering immediately or calling back within an hour. Even if we had concerns that weren't technically his remit, he always tried to help, and when there were installation glitches along the way he was quick to take responsibility and set in motion solutions. The project was completed on time and on budget and six months on we are very pleased with the results. The cabinetry is solid and beautifully made and the appliances Mark recommended are just right for our needs. We never felt that he was pushing trendy appliances (steamer oven, built-in coffee maker) that we didn't want or need. This was the most positive major remodelling experience we've had out of four or five over the past 27 years. BTW project cost includes the contractor who made the kitchen ready.

McCarron & Co fitted a new galley kitchen for us . They were excellent to work with, very professional and did a great job. I cant recommend them highly enough.

The service was good and the quality of the furniture is great. It is a beautiful kitchen and I would highly recommend them.

I unreservedly recommend McCarron &Co, quality kitchen and furniture designers and makers, who over the last year have advised, designed and constructed a large kitchen and pantry, a utility room, a library, several beautifully fitted cupboards and wardrobes and well as wall panelling as part of the total refurbishment of a grade 2 listed property in Oxfordshire. Their after sales service has also been exemplary and every member of staff with whom I dealt was a pleasure to deal with as well as extremely competent and efficient. If it were possible to award 6 stars for this recommendation, I would do so.
