M Baron Design : Interior Design + Build

We recently put our Marin home of 30 years on the market and to be honest it needed substantial renovation to put it in a condition to sell. Our realtor put us in touch with Gloria and Hank who turned our pumpkin into Cinderella's carraige which sold the first day on offer. Although we comitted over $100K to these renovations (2 new baths, a new kitchen, painting inside and out, landscaping, staging and quite a few other projects, we more than doubled that in terms of what we received for the property. They handled design, coordination, repairs and renovations, under estimate and always on time. To facilitate matter we left California and moved to New Mexico while the work was being performed, and did so without a concern that all would be managed without our presence; that is the level of confidence they engender. I had the pleasure of working with Maggie and her team on 2 different occasions. The first was to update my mother's mid-century home in Tiburon. This included the remodel of 2 bathrooms, interior painting throughout the home, window replacement, purchase of a new front door, refinishing teak wood floors, replacement of window coverings and purchase of new light fixtures. Maggie helped me to select products and materials that are consistent with the overall style of the home while staying within the allocated budget. As a result, I was able to lease the home at a prenium rate. The investment I made in the project was recovered as rental income in just a little over a year! The second project was a bathroom in our South Bay home. Maggie guided us in the selection of all the materials again keeping the project within budget. It was a complete "gut and replace" and we just love the final result. I am so glad I didn't attempt either of these projects on my own. Maggie has the experience, the knowledge and access to resources that made these projects successful. Plus, she is just great to work with.

I have had the pleasure of working with Maggie Baron on several projects in my home. I totally redorated my living room and consulted with Maggie on choosing the right paint color, buying new furniture, the best room design, finding fabrics for accent pillows, and choosing accessories for a more finished look. After purchasing a new home, I knew I would need professional help to realize the home's full potential as a place to live and work. They dispatched their various projects to my complete satisfaction. The project moved swiftly (as these things go) and Baron + Baron seamlesly integrated my own design ideas into the overall plan. Maggie was very easy to work with on this aspect of the project so I really feel the house now reflects my tastes and interests. I guess you could say that B + B translated my personality into a wonderful living space. I'm am unreservedly delighted with the outcome. I should also mention that they staged the house i was leaving. B + B did a very tasteful and pleasing staging with sensitivity to the costs. The house sold immediately in a bidding war. There was an up market that helped fuel the frenzy, but everyone was happy at the amount of the overbid.

As a Realtor, I have worked for 10+ years with and recommended Baron + Baron to all my sellers who want to obtain the highest price when selling their home.
