INTERIOR FOCUS

Best place to purchase lighting. The business is family run. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They are current on all building codes and new innovations related to lighting and controls. I have used them as my "go-to" for almost 30 years! Awesome business to deal with!!

Viewpoint Lighting

Having worked with Lofings for nearly 100 years, they have been my go-to when sourcing exterior (and occasionally interior) lighting fixtures for my clients. The pricing is very competitive, the selection is great, but most of all they know what they're doing. Going the extra step, like checking shipments for broken/missing parts, makes a huge difference. On at least 2 occasions the order arrived at their store broken from the manufacturer. They took care of it so that I didn't have to discover it at the job site. That saved me hours, if not days of frustration ad wasted gas. Not to mention looking bad in front of the client. They've been very helpful, putting in hours of time researching products for special applications. I send my clients to their website or showroom first, because I know they'll be taken care of by the staff at Lofings.

The Design Partner

Over the years I have always had great success working with the professional staff at Lofings Lighting. Many of my clients purchase their new light fixtures and ceiling fans from Lofings. I can always count on Lofings to have up to date product and technical information concerning lighting, and the staff is always willing to go above and beyond to assure my clients' orders are shipped in a timely manner.

On a Friday we realized we would need a specific type of exterior light installed by Monday morning for the City to sign off on a Final Permit for our new sliding glass door. Our construction company suggested that we should go into Lofings Lighting. We went in and worked with Joan Gilly. She was a pleasure to work with and incredibly helpful. She addressed our concerns and gave us design advice on the size of exterior lighting we would need in the back yard. She also helped with our limited time frame constraints. In the end we also bought a matching light for our front porch, a new hallway light, and some Maestro wireless light switches made by Lutron. We were very satisfied working with Joan and Lofings Lighting and have recommended them to many friends. We look forward to doing business with them in the future as well!

Lofings is wonderful! I had been looking for a good lighting source for years and am so grateful to finally have found one. While my business and clients are in the Contra Costa and Alameda Counties I still order everything from Lofings. I have work mostly with Joan and she is wonderful however everyone is so nice and helpful. Their staff is very professional and more knowledgeable than any other place I have worked with. They have a very very large selection and good pricing. I won't ever use another source again.
