Matt came highly recommended by someone I barely knew. So, I went to his showroom and found his work to be beautiful. While his price was higher than the run of the mill cabinets, it was far less expensive than many well-known brands. And they are custom cabinets. Solid to the core! Still, I worried about the cabinets I would receive. I kept thinking, “The showroom is nice but will he sell me the same quality cabinet?” I was a nervous wreck as I handed him my deposit. Well, I am thrilled to report that Matt’s cabinets surpassed my expectations. They were worth every penny. Not only do they look fabulous, but also they fit my space perfectly and they function flawlessly. Matt was great to work with. He has insight. He is talented and most of all, he was patient as he helped me with my design choices. Matt, I recommend you to everyone I know. I cannot thank you enough.

I could write the usual things that people say as a recommendation, such as, reliable, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and all of that would be so true. But, there is one thing that sets Matt apart from all the others. Unlike them, woodworking for Matt is not a career, it is a God-given gift. His love and skill in building beautiful pieces of furniture/cabinetry is beyond compare. Matt and his crew were great to work ẃith. Excellent quality work, on time and on budget. We will certainly use MRD anytime we have another project. The subs he recommended for tile, counter top, electric, and painting were also great to work with. Cleanup was done every day before leaving so we never had a problem living in the house during the work. Thanks Matt!

Our friends referred us to MRD Woodworking in 2013. We used Matt for a renovation project on our small cottage. Matt acted as our general contractor. We had a new roof installed, a new skylight was added to match the existing skylight, ceilings were torn down and replaced with blueboard and plaster, a vinyl wood plank floating floor was installed on the entire first floor, and painting of the ceilings, trim and walls. Communication was key throughout the project and Matt and his team were on top of everything. They came back in 2014 to install a new front door and install a beadboard ceiling on our front porch. Matt and his team are great to work with and we highly recommend.

Matt was an absolute delight, and he and his crew were highly skilled and very professional. Remodeling a kitchen can be stressful but Matt and his crew certainly eased the pain. Everyday, after working, they would vacuum the area and move their equipment to the corners ........ It certainly was a help. Their workmanship was superb and I am absolutely thrilled with my new kitchen. We also have hired him for other projects and will definitely contact him when we decide to remodel our guest bathroom.
