Master Builders is your full-service contractor for West Central Minnesota. A service-oriented business, we provide not only labor and materials, but also design services and project management to complete your custom building or remodeling project from start to finish. As a general contractor, Master Builders manages your project, coordinating the many different facets of design and construction to achieve the desired result. Master Builders' design team works along with architects, engineers and other design professionals to provide the look and feel you want in your project while maintaining the practicality and usability that often gets lost. Once your project gets underway, Master Builders' crews, along with experienced sub-contractors, will work to provide you with quality construction. Coordinating plumbers, electricians, excavators, sheetrockers, and tapers along with all the others is what we do. Master Builders also provides management services for property management, land development, and building permit/variance solutions. At Master Builders we want to help you.

The quality and timeliness of the work was very good. Kent has a down to earth approachable honest style of communication. He was always available to remedy problems, answer questions or offer suggestions. This was our third building construction project and it was by far the smoothest. We would definitely use Master Builders again.

In buying the property here in Brandon, we saw the potential of building the house we wanted. We selected Master Builders because we wanted a local company to work with. We knew that in every construction process there will be issues. In our case, we had to move mature tree's, level ground in order to build, and add a septic system, none of which is easy including getting permits. Kent and his team worked with us to realize what we are able to do, costs associated with it, and kept us informed of each step. It is important to note, we had issues. Some caused by us as new home owners, and some caused by deliveries or designs not being followed by their sub contractors. However, in each step Master Builders worked with us to move the construction forward and finish what we started and wanted. We are very pleased with a very well built home that will last the rest of our years. Quality workmanship was very important to us, and they met our expectations. Standing behind what you say and doing what you promise are key. They met these obligations.

Kent and his crew are outstanding. Master Builders have completed many home improvement projects for us through the years. This past year, they put on a new composite deck with glass panel railings and stairs to the sidewalk. It is beautiful. He addressed all my design ideas and created the perfect deck. He bids with high-quality materials; comes in on the bid price every time with no last-minute surprises. ; and provides excellent customer service. His craftsmen are punctual, polite, and constantly working. No downtime is observed. The crew cleans up each day with a project finished on time I would give 5+ stars every time!

Kent and his team at Master Builders were/are great to work with. They do good work and are an integral part of the community. Master Builders works hard to understand and exceed your expectations. They are the only builder we would consider. We used them for our original build and have continued to use them for ongoing renovations as recently as May of 2020.

Working with Kent and the entire staff of Master Builders was the best thing we did in choosing them to remodel and add on to our 1912 farmhouse. From the very beginning of my dream to the finished product they gave me what I had been hoping for. No corners were cut in giving me what I wanted. If any questions or issues arose Kent and crew were prompt in letting me know and finding solutions. Let’s face it....working with an old house will present a few headaches for all involved but in the end it was worked out. Many people who have visited our house are amazed by the transformation. When I had questions about the timeline of the project they were very open with me. This wasn’t a minor remodel. It was an overhaul and the right job takes the right amount of time. J

Kent and his crew at Master Builders were fantastic to work with! We had them build our lake home back in 2000, and had them put an addition on a couple years ago. He is quick to reply to questions, honest, worked within our budget, and just an all-around great guy. His crew was always respectful, and I felt very comfortable being up there alone working on projects while they were there.

Master Builders did an amazing remodel on our 1950's farm house. We were even able to take a planned trip to Alaska during the remodel. They kept us informed of the progress and communicated with us when they found some unforeseen issues. We were very pleased with Kent and his crew for their professionalism and their help in this project.

We hired Master Lumber to build our custom designed lake home. Our home is considered conventional with log features and half log siding with a lake lodge feel and décor. It took us over a year to find a builder that not only had experience with log homes but could also build it within our budget. Kent Hintermeister, the owner of Master Builders, was very fair to work with and stood behind his work. Change orders were seamless and in the end we got exactly what we had hoped for. We love our beautiful home and highly recommend Kent and Master Builders.
