After living in our home for 15 years it was time to update the dated blue bathroom. We started asking our neighbors for names of contractors and I started looking on Houzz. Boston Kitchen Designs popped up and I called Mary. From the first phone call, I knew we would have a great working relationship. She was extremely professional and patient with us. She led us to the vendors and most importantly our contractor. I valued her opinion and trusted her in selecting the vanity, tile, faucets, and pulls. She responded to my calls and emails and the project stayed on track. Our bathroom is absolutely gorgeous. It is exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be using Mary at Boston Kitchen Designs when we do our kitchen!

Mary was amazing! Her extensive knowledge of function, design, and pragmatism resulted in a gorgeous kitchen for my family. Any challenges that surfaced, she creatively solved them. Mary is the consummate professional! She has managed to make the very limited space - both in size and access - into a beautiful and highly functional showpiece. As my semi-open kitchen sits in the middle of my condo, it has integrated this very important workspace into the overall design of the apartment. In a word - perfect! Our contractor directed us to Mary at Boston Kitchen Designs and she was the best vendor we worked with during our whole-house remodel. She was able to very quickly understand the vision we had for our kitchen and create a design including elements we never would have thought of. She walked us patiently through the many choices when designing a kitchen and not only gave us suggestions, but also helped us understand the potential impact of our decisions. She modified the design to accommodate items we wanted (like a large window over the sink) and helped get our order in early so that we could take advantage of a manufacturer's discount. Even after the order was in, she consulted with us as we worked to choose our counters and flooring. We've been in the new kitchen for a couple weeks and we love it! Mary is the best!

Mary was recommended to us by our builder and we never had to even consider alternate designers. We were expanding and renovating our kitchen as part of a larger home renovation. Working with Mary Porzelt and her team at Boston Kitchen Designs was such a positive experience. We initially met with Mary to help us design our kitchen but ended up working with her for the master bathroom and our children’s bathroom as well. Right from our very first meeting Mary talked about flow and efficiently of design. She asked the ages of our children, how we operate in the kitchen and what our non-negotiable items were for the design. In working with Mary it was clear she understood the scope of our project, the timing, and most importantly how to turn concept of our dream kitchen and bathrooms to reality, and within our budget. Mary was very knowledgeable of all the various vendors whether Boston Kitchen Designs carried them in the showroom or not. We learned so much from Mary regarding the construction of the different cabinet options, their price and value, warranty and the ability to customize the cabinets to meet our needs. Mary was always quick to address our concerns and offer us multiple options and designs while providing guidance based on her understanding of our vision and tastes. She was incredibly responsive whether it be an email, phone call or meeting to discuss all our questions and concerns. Her responsiveness took a lot of the stress out of this aspect of the renovation. We knew in working with Mary that she was sensitive to the fact this was not only a huge financial undertaking but an emotional one as well. The BEST decision that I made in planning my kitchen remodel was to hire Mary Porzelt of Boston Kitchen. Mary's services came highly recommended by one of my friends and my experience was even better than I had anticipated. Mary's process was very thorough. After a few meetings of learning/understanding the needs of our family and measuring our space we she presented a very detailed and beautiful floorplan. Her excellent listening skills and creative talents for design translated into a project plan that optimized both space and functionality. Part of this plan included the tear down of one wall and building of another. Overall, I was able to see on paper and on a computer screen a kitchen that included everything that I wanted and that was well appointed. In addition this plan allowed every family member to work together in the same area while each having their own space. Boston Kitchen has an excellent showroom to physically see/touch a wide array of great quality offerings for cabinets, countertop and backsplash options. Mary was particularly helpful with selecting everything that fit with both my style and budget. In addition she provided referrals to excellent resources (for appliances, lighting, and fixtures) which I also ended up using and happy I did. Ordering everything was smooth and despite the fact this was completed at the beginning of the project, Mary made herself available for any questions, concerns or even changes through the completion of the final installation. She also followed up with a visit to make sure I understood how to clean and adjust all of the cabinets as well as had a repair kit for maintenance. I am EXTREMELY happy with the final results. . My kitchen is beautiful and functional. I highly recommend Mary Porzelt of Boston Kitchens for her excellent design skills, knowledge of products, keen eye for details, professional manner and exceptional service. I will definitely consult with her first on my next project!

As a renovation newbie, I had no idea where to start. I had a disaster of a kitchen which had green formica counters and a calcamine ceiling where the paint would constantly peel and flake off.
