Mark Sweeden founded Mark Sweeden Construction in 1976. He has over thirty years of experience as a carpenter and general contractor. Mark Sweeden has been consulting, designing and building residential and commercial wine cellars for fifteen years. His passion for wine and the necessity for storage in a proper environment was the inspiration. I can not say enough good things about Mark. He was very patient through the planning stage to mare sure it was exactly what I wanted. The custom piece fits our home perfectly. Mark is an expert in wine cellar construction as well as other types of construction and project management. Once he completes a project he remains available for any fine tuning or repairs down the road. Most recently I called him with a problem on a weekend and a repair person was at my door first thing Monday morning.

We found Mark after seeing a custom home with a spectacular wine room and asked the homeowner who she used. Not much later, we were building our own custom home and asked Mark to do our wine room under the stairs. We didn't have a ton of room, but Mark did a great job designing so that we could fit plenty of wine. He also helped us find a half wine barrel that would work in the space we had. We went through several design drafts together and he always took our opinions into consideration and was fast to respond. Mark also worked well with our builder on the timing and details of the room as our house was being built. The builder told us that Mark was a great subcontractor to work with and he was very happy with him. Our wine room turned out perfectly - we honestly could not have asked for anything more!
