Mark Stocker Design is an award winning San Diego-based design studio dedicated to creating high-end spaces. Mark Stocker delivered a five-star performance for my wife and me!! We wanted to revitalize the interior of our home. It was traditional and tired looking (20 years old) and we wanted a lively contemporary look. As my wife described it, she wanted the crisp lines of contemporary but with an inviting, comfortable feeling. Mark took that dream into reality. His design included structural revisions to doorways, built-in gas-fired fireplaces, floor coverings, wall coverings, whole house furnishings, and artwork. He quickly learned our preferences, so when he brought suggestions and samples for our consideration, we were always able to make a quick selection. We couldn’t be happier with the end product. Without Mark it would not have been possible.

We were lucky enough to have Mark redecorate our entire home for us and simply put, he is amazing! He quickly hones in on his client's sense of style and makes the entire process fun. He is incredible with knowing how to use space well and how to bring in different colors and textures to really make everything come together in a room. We were completely blown away by all that he did for us. And he stays within budget which was a big deal for us. I've worked with several designers and after working with Mark I will never work with anyone else again! He's the best at listening to my thoughts and requests; he offers many ideas and suggestions but never pushes them on me if it's not what I want. So many designers are bullies if you don't do what they think the right vision is...it's my home and he recognizes that and works with me to fulfill my vision but still brings in all his amazing expertise and fabulous design concepts. His design elements are beautiful, sometimes playful and he incorporates color fabulously. Mark worked within my budget, being aware of the costs and dates that were important to me. I highly recommend Mark, you will not be disappointed!

I have worked with Mark on two interior design projects and would definitely work with him again. The first was a full update to a living room, dining room, master bedroom and whole house interior and exterior paint project. The second was a whole house remodel. On both projects Mark developed multiple concepts within budget and executed the outcomes professionally. We used a GC on our second project and Mark kept open lines of communication going. At the conclusion, our GC remarked that we really picked a great designer; Mark was easy to work with and he loved the esthetic. I highly recommend Mark Stocker Design.

We built a large Santa Barbara style home in the Carmel Valley area of San Diego. The interior style is what I would call modern farmhouse. I had a vision of what I wanted and Mark was the magic that made it happen. He was fantastic! He has an amazing sense for design, good use of space, and also has pragmatic views on making spaces livable vs "just look amazing" (which they do also).
