Providence was referred to me by a trusted advisor over eighteen months ago, at the early planning stage of my project. Mark Phillips, Providence's owner and operating principal, has been a delight to work with through every phase of my project. He is smart, effective and very careful to understand and work to his client's objectives. Mark manages expectations very well and always delivers what he promises, when and as promised. His work and that of his sub-contractors is of the highest quality. I would (and already have) recommend Mark with great enthusiasm to anyone starting a building or renovation project.

Mark Phillips and Providence Custom Homes, LLC provided terrific service and design service on a kitchen renovation. The job was started on time and completed ahead of time and on budget. Mark suggested changes to the plan that were beneficial to use of the space and created cost savings. I would recommend the company and Mark without reservation.

The company (particularly the President) handled all aspects of construction of a 10,000+ square foot custom stone exterior home with a lot of owner unique/untried elements required. I had no previous relationship with the company or people prior to this engagement. Although I am an engineer and knew specifically what I wanted, they were always ready to explain in detail why there was a better way. However, in the end, the decision was mine and they executed flawlessly. I would HIGHLY recommend Providence and my experience shows them to be highly trustworthy and extremely competent. I have indicated that I would be willing to personally serve as a reference for anyone considering them for a large custom home.

I hired Mark to finish my basement. He was a pleasure to work with and really held our hands during the entire process. He knew the budget we had set and made sure we stayed right on line. He clearly stated if something we wanted would make us exceed our budget and help steer us in a direction of something comparable but in our price range. The work was exceptional and the finished product was the talk of the street. He did what he said he would do and most importantly delivered on the time frame set to finish the project. I would certainly use Mark again and would refer him to any one looking to get work done.

Mark and his crew did an excellent job. We had an old deck removed and replaced with a new one with screened in porch. Mark's attention to deal was evident throughout the project. Mark personally came out to do the measurements and explained the options that I had. He was very easy to work with esp when trying to deal with the county and city regarding permits. The deck was completed as scheduled and right on budget. Even since the project has been complete I've been able to contact Mark with any questions or concerns and he has taken care of them without question. We plan to redo three bathrooms next year and I plan on using them again. Overall I could not have been happier.

I consistently work with Mark Philips/Providence Custom Homes on a variety of projects, from small renovation projects to custom built homes. I have worked with many other contractors/builders but prefer to work with Mark. His service is top-notch and he is extremely knowledgable in all aspects of the build. The end result is always quality and beautiful and his so enjoyable with whom to work. I have and will always refer Mark to my clients.

As a structural engineer, I was thoroughly impressed with Mark's knowledge and ability to problem solve. He is very responsive, professional, and stayed within the projected budget. Mark pays close attention to the owners specific interests and will not sign off on the project until every last detail is considered and finished.
