Maria Tenaglia Design

Maria was a key team member in the complete renovation of our house. She carefully designed the space in order to provide the proper foundation for the finishes and decorations. She also designed the kitchen layout and cabinets, bathroom vanities and various built-ins around the house. She is equally talented with design as she is with decoration and finishing touches. She also worked well with the architect and contractor on the project.

A number of years ago, we enlisted architect and designer, Maria Tenaglia to work with us and it has truly been a pleasure. Indeed, the original project was so successful that we ultimately expanded her scope of work to include our entire home and garden. Maria is highly professional with a depth of experience well beyond her peers. As busy professionals, my husband and I appreciate her work ethic and efficiency which stems from her years in the industry. As her clients, we benefitted from her longstanding relationships with talented local contacts/craftsmen who went above and beyond to accommodate us. Working within the framework of a contemporary home, we were looking for interiors that complemented, but didn't compete with the architecture. I am drawn to high style and couture, but I also love spaces that are comfortable and inviting, and could withstand our 2 active boys and their endless parade of friends. Maria's gift for color is evident in a soothing palette that is simply sublime. Maria is a consummate professional. And unlike many design professionals, she is both practical and flexible. She found answers when we needed them; and she was quick about it. She has a great eye and can pull from a number of different styles and price ranges. As a designer/builder, I'd work with her again in a heartbeat.

We have worked with Maria for many years now, and have always found her design aesthetic and color sense to be fantastic. Maria consistently provides fully finished drawings and specifications, which today have become harder and harder to get from Architects and Designers. This "completed" packet makes my life, the life of my estimators, and I am sure the client's life so much easier. Doing 2-10 projects with her annually has been great for business, and great for my experience base as she regularly comes up with new, different, and appealing designs that are NOT cookie cutter, but true innovative design.
