We were in covid and our architect & interior designer team had lost sight of our vision for our offices. I searched online and Mango Tango Interiors was top 3 for Calgary and had won 8 awards & were local. I called and booked a Consultation masks, sanitizer and all. With the hopes we could get our offices done. From the initial consultation to the final reveal, Tasleem showcased efficiency, professionalism, creativity, and an incredible attention to detail. She took the time to understand the unique needs and vision of the offices resulting in a design that exceeded all expectations. We were frustrated with the covid deliveries. Tasleem & her team’s attention to detail was immediately evident in the selection of materials, paint colors, fabric and finishes. Tasleem effortlessly combined functionality with a visually appealing aesthetic, creating an atmosphere that is both professional and welcoming.

Tasleem has a good eye for design and the end result was amazing! She added new pieces to complement existing furniture to achieve a completely updated look.

Our apartment was flooded in the early, and we decided to use this opportunity to make some significant design changes - while we were displaced and the apartment was in chaos! Tasleem helped us select a lighter colour floor; provided advice on significantly decluttering the apartment; and helped us showcase for the first time, artwork pieces and family photographs. She also helped select slim LED lamps that allows for dimming and temperature changes. And she helped us locate a new fireplace that fits well with the overall decor, and is a hit with us and visitors. We love our new place - makes the two months of displacement and turmoil and settling back and massive decluttering very worth while. The place has a whole new energy, and as we've started welcoming friends and family to visit, we get great feedback. Thank you, Tasleem!

My parents were moving from Sidney BC to Chilliwack BC. It was a big move for them as their ages are 80 and 89, and they’ve always lived and led independent lives. We were introduced to Tasleem, of Mango Tango Interiors’s by our Realtor, and were given a complementary consult. We liked her professionalism and knowledge, so we hired Tasleem for a couple hours to assist with the downsizing. She was very efficient and organized. She helped my parents with deciding what items to keep, dispose of, and donate. The most helpful thing for my family were the pictures she took of how the old home was set up. This helped us set up the new home in a familiar way, which was great for my father, who suffers from dementia. Tasleem is warm, sympathetic, and able to read situations well. She had a calming and cheeful presence with my Mom, which helped make the downsizing process relaxing and enjoyable for her. My parents are now happily established in their new place, that is warm and familiar, from using the pictures Tasleem took. It was a pleasure to have this service available to us.

I was introduced to Tasleem on a project for my long term client Health First optometry. She had sent the floor plans over as well as the arrangement for the countertops, this gave my crew time to decide where to have all outlets, wiring, desk grommets & covers. He came in on. Friday after closing to disconnect everything, enabling me to come in and do all the painting, removal of old countertops & renovations. We started a few weeks ahead in order to plan it and have it excepted without much delay. She was organized, She was juggling her crew and mine having sent me all the information I needed to be able to decide, After which we sat down and worked on a very, very tight timeline. We decided to get the entire project done in three days over weekend. Tasleem and I worked closely we were in to disconnect everything cover everything so I could go in and do the renovations with no damage to equipment. Once she was done, I did my part, came in and got all the networks and equipment connected. This allowed her to keep to my commitment to Health First Optometry that they would not lose a day of clients I could not have done it without planning, communication, expertise and execusion. They were business as usual on Tuesday morning. Everything looks absolutely beautiful and it was a well worth update to the offices. I’ve never worked with anyone and had something done that quickly. Truly it was a collective of very passionate people coming together doing what they love. It was a pleasure meeting you & working along side with you. We engaged Mango Tango to see how we could add "punch" to the bedroom and living room, and how to improve the aesthetics of 2nd bedroom/office. Our challenge was doing this remotely, which we overcame through sharing pictures and Facetime. We had been considering a deep burgundy as an accent colour. Tasleem diplomatically persuaded us to change the accent colours we had been considering, and helped us declutter. The overall result is a much nicer apartment, with less clutter and a 2nd bedroom that is now bright and airy. As a bonus, she also gave us great advice on how to clean our sofa cushions, and throw pillows, something we had been struggling with for a while given their delicate fabrics - and her suggestion worked and cost us nothing to execute! The cushions and pillows look like new.

I received a gift certificate through a silent auction and met with Tasleem to discuss updating my home. Tasleem was lovely and enthusiastic. Had a consult with her and it went well. More suggestions on organization vs. Redecorating, but the paint colour she recommended was nice and I’ll probably try it out, so that was helpful.

Project Price Range: $10,000 - $49,999 I would highly recommend Mango Tango Interiors. Not only does she go above and beyond she has the patience to take time with the client,She listened my vision and where i wanted the home to go and fulfilled it beyond my expectations.. Her communication with when the home is vacant and getting her trades in and the place done were always on time and finished ahead! 

I met Tasleem about 3 years ago when i moved from Ontario at that point we donated my old items to feed a need and re-did my entire home. Painting, wardrobes, living dining. Mostly decor. At that point we decided on going contemporary and what my needs were going to be. So we had decided on what the basic style and colors were going to be. It was a long term plan we knew that in time the kitchen and bathrooms would come up. My keys have been on her key ring ever since! I hear she takes them everywhere :) So my keys have been overseas and back :)

This year we did wallpaper in the 2 bedrooms, WE did the guest bath, refacing of the kitchen cabinets and my absolute favourite MY SPA bathroom. I had left Tasleem my key while i was in the UK and when i got back…I was pleasantly surprised. I had a little bit of food in my fridge, clean sheets and towels and a home that was now complete. 

When we were deciding on the bathrooms and kitchens we took time to go out and look at different finishes and tile and accent and she physically showed me all the options that would work, the advantages and disadvantages and how light and color would impact all of that. She even made sure that the shower spas has a little shower nozel for my grandson to enjoy as well as ease of cleaning. Every item i asked for and wanted was accommodated. I loved having options to decide. Her suggestion for the over all look are phenomenal. The design and what was in her mind and how it turned out with all the little details that go into it are priceless. There is a lot that goes on in interior and no many people understand that. TRUST! 

I love this woman, She adheres to budget, communicates, and has fulfilled each time what it is i require. Even when i do not know and I am not sure she will leave things around with the tags for me to see and decide.

We hired Tasleem from Mango Tango Interiors as we were getting our kitchen cabinets redone and wanted a color consultation to ensure we made the right decision, wether we should do them more than one color, what were the trends etc. Tasleem was very responsive to our inquiry, did a lot of background work before showing up at our home, and then presented us with several ideas to choose from. We are so happy with the color we chose thanks to Tasleem's guidance. She also gave us some other great ideas regarding window treatments, layout of our living room, lighting etc. She was very personable and professional throughout and kept in touch with us throughout the process. Down the road when we decide to remodel our bathroom and change up our basement, we will definitely hire her again.

Won a consult package in a community give away and received some wonderful suggestions and some creative ideas! She also helped me with what to purchase on Prime days which was a huge help.

I had been introduced to Tasleem through a mutual friend. As time went by it realized I needed her for both an office renovation plan review as well as the home I had purchased after my divorce I bought all the furnishings. They were big and not the best however at the time it served its purpose. I was ready for a change. It did not help. It was covid time as stock was back ordered for months. When it was finally back Tasleem was out there waiting for months and then in line for up to 2 hours. I had attended her seminar of downsizing, organizing and relocation via the Calgary Public Library. During the year I had to be back and Forth to Edmonton where it was time to move my 94 year old dad.Thank God my sister was around to do the bulk of it Tasleem stepped in and arranged all the donations to newly arrived families as well as all the marketplace ads to sell what needed to be sold by my sister. I thought it was a good idea to get rid of my couches from the home that were big and bring my dad‘s couches without asking Tasleem’s opinion! Well the outcome was I had to get rid of all the couches as none of them are going to fit in my home and I was going to have to bite the bullet and get something that fit! I learnt to always ask your Designer! She had enough patience to go through many newcomers via a fb ad, qualify them, ask the necessary questions and then arrange for pick up. For those who needed a truck she was able to get somebody to volunteer their time to get the furniture to them, a new beginning for a new family in a new country and all we can do is help. I knew I was ready to list the home and move on and so again reached out and she came by and staged it as best as we could. So I have been fortunate to have used multiple & overlap mango tango interiors’ services. Having viewed her work and what she is able to transform, I am hoping when I move and start fresh I can give her a clean slate to get it done where it will finally be a home again - a new beginning. I would highly recommend Mango Tango Interiors and Tasleem for the thought process, attention to detail and the kindness she puts towards her clients. She treats them as family.
