Malibu Canyon Landscape and Maintenance, Inc. was founded in 1987 by two brothers working out of their garage. Initially, David Bateman and Brooke Bateman – the founding partners – performed all of the sales and work needed to complete each project. David and Brooke Bateman wanted to provide a full service landscape company where “One call would take care of all your landscape needs”. The landscape industry seemed to be rampant with unreliable and poor quality landscape services.
