I cannot say enough good things about Jaime and her work. The first time we used Jaime was for a paint consultation for our new home. I had some color ideas, but had no idea how to pull everything together to ensure the rooms flowed well in our open floor plan even though the rooms would be different colors. She came with her magic paint swatch boxes (no, really, I think there’s magic in those boxes!) and 90 minutes later we had paint colors chosen for every room in our home. We ended up loving everything she helped us choose. She helped us imagine colors we never would’ve chosen and what we found especially helpful was her eye for pulling out undertones and how they reflect light (which can really jack up a color once it’s on your wall). Aside from the fact that she’s a talented designer who also happens to have a fun personality and is a delight to be around (no stuffy designer here . . . bonus!), something else I love and respect about Jaime is that she’s not afraid to tell you when your idea might not come together like you envision. Because, let’s face it, even us unqualified folks like to play designer now and again and it doesn’t always end well. The second time we used her was for chandelier and drapery installation and one of her partners, Julian, helped out. He was an equally skilled craftsman and also delightful to be around. I highly recommend Maison D’or Interiors for all of your interior design needs. If you need help with anything in your home, call Jaime; you won’t be disappointed. We expect to use her services again in the near future for kitchen backsplash and shadow box moulding in several areas of our home.

I have worked with Jaime on a kitchen/dining room remodel. She has been a pleasure to work with. Wonderful ideas, good eye for style. Listens to you and can make recommendations to fit your budget and taste. I will definitely work with Jaime again on the next project!
