Soglia Architecture

This long overdue review is for Maegan and all the hard work she put into our 1st floor Living, Dinning and Kitchen project as well as a new exterior deck and patio. My family was looking to changing the layout of our split level house and went looking for architect recommendations, when somehow I landed on Soglia. I could tell right away that she was the right person who could understand our practical needs and transform a space from a non functional , outdated kitchen/sunken living area to a more modern and welcoming integrated living space with an open concept plan. Maegan brought a lot of creativity and amazing design skills to our remodeled kitchen in particular. Having an architect with this range of flexibility was amazing. Maegan was also very good too at listening - and she took our feedback well, as well as shared many of her ideas with us, until we found the exact right concept we wanted to go with. She also had a great team of people she typically works with, contractors, a structural engineer etc, and all those contacts were great contributors to our project. They also helped us keep everything we wanted to do under budget. Maegan was always there to ensure things stayed on track and kept a good cadence of meetings that really showed she was there to see things through. All in all, it was a spectacular transformation our family needed to live in the same house we had loved since we moved 6 years before. Maegan's skill and expertise were leveraged extensively in order to complete things the way we envisioned and it still stands today that people come by and compliment the work in and outside the house. I don't know how one could be so lucky, however, it's now been 6 months since we completed this project, and I still couldn't be happier about the way things went.

I highly recommend Maegan as a professional and talented architect. She has a great attitude towards her work and is very knowledgeable in her industry. She would be an asset to any design team!

Soglia Architecture renovated a room in our house, it went from having not been painted in over 20 years, to a fabulous yoga sanctuary. Maegan put her own spin on the things I picked out and she did a wonderful job. From the colors, to the artwork, it came out wonderful. She was very hands on with this project and promptly got back to me with any questions I had. Maegan is very talented and you can tell she has a passion for this work, it truly shines in her projects. I would highly recommend her and will be using her again for another room in our house.

There is no other way to describe our experience with Maegan and Soglia Architecture than 5-star! She lead us through the monumental job of finishing our basement which included drawing the plans, working with the contractors, and making sure every detail was attended to. The result completely exceeded our expectations! She is a pleasure to work with and is an absolute professional with an unbelievable eye for design. Maegan basically did our entire house- serving as an architect, a designer, a therapist, and a wonderful liaison to both our contractor and the challenging town's permitting process. I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely continue engaging her in the future. Pricing is extremely fair.

I've worked with Soglia Architecture on a kitchen renovation of a mutual client that blew my socks off! Seeing the original kitchen versus the revised and updated design was like night and day. Maegan is super wonderful to work with and has done an exceptional job helping us renovate an older mind-century modern home to something spectacular! She did a great job blueprinting the indoor and outdoor lighting, created a plan for a wonderful outdoor space, and was instrumental in choosing colors, furniture, art, etc.. Maegan has a fantastic eye for color and on top of her super awesome architectural skills, she also excels in putting together interior decor that really creates the "wow" factor. One of the best things about working with Maegan is she's a really fantastic person, very easy going, never pushy, and she was always an excellent advocate for us in dealing with the various teams of workers (painters, contractors, flooring, electrical folks). She managed the many plates she had in the air with ease and was always very open to new ideas as well as the many creative ideas of her own. Loved working with Maegan and I hope to continue our relationship!

Maegan is amazing! She creates functional layouts while keeping design integrity. It was an absolute pleasure to partner with her on our house renovation . This was a complete gut, design/build renovation that was finished in under eight months. Whenever challenges came up throughout the project, she was able to collaborate and direct contractors to a solution. I would highly recommend her.
