We make window apparel. That’s all we do. And it’s a bit of an obsession. The same obsession that runs in our founder’s family. Since she was knee-high, she learnt about the finest fabrics and how to cut them with an impeccable eye so they hang just so. When she grew up, Stitched was born. And when it came to hand-picking her sewistas, she knew exactly what to look for to let their needles do the talking. Behind our window apparel you’ll find our sewistas. They all come from families who’ve been hemming and stitching for hundreds of years in workrooms up and down the country. Working with some of the world’s most forward thinking mills --- from velvets to silks, from pinks to greens --- we’ve picked fabrics that have a neutral impact on our planet. There’s over 300 of them. All sustainable. We call them ‘feel good fabrics’ as we just want to touch them! We’ve made designing your window apparel a breeze. From measuring up to seeing your creation before its even made --- we’ve got a tool for that. "For almost six years I lived in my house without curtains, constantly putting it off due to the time and costs involved, as well as the fear of picking the wrong colours! However, having come across Stitched through a friend, the whole process was painless, allowing me to picture the room as it would look with the new curtains, while getting feedback from friends who could visualise different options online. The whole process was so quick and easy, and I am now the proud owner of some BRIGHT yellow curtains, a colour I would never have chosen were it not for the 3D render with allowed me to try something bolder than I would ever have picked in a showroom!"
