I am a Partner with a building company located in Austin, TX, and have had the pleasure of working with Michael on my personal residence. My home (his design) won the 2015 HBA MAX Award for Custom Home of the Year, as well as awards for Best Kitchen and Best Master Bath. I was so pleased with the results that I have continued to use Michael's services for many of our single and multi-family projects. His knowledge of the city matrix of rules/regulations and ability to navigate that, as well as his attention to detail, layout, flow, energy efficiency, and curb appeal are all noteworthy and very important. But his responsiveness to our ideas, cooperative nature for a team environment, and continued assistance throughout the building process is what makes Michael stand out from others. A unique architectural design for a total remodel custom house. My wife and I selected Michael for his knowledge of design and builder expertise within Austin's historic neighborhoods. Michael's attention to detail and his familiarity with the city's permitting process enabled this project to be finished on time and on budget. We couldn't have been more pleased by his work and have referred Michael to other builders whom he now works with.

We hired Michael to design a complete remodel of a home we bought. He was very helpful through the design process, doing what he could to accommodate our needs and offering creative solutions. He was attentive throughout the build process, responsive when the contractor had a question or needed a certain aspect of the job signed off on.

I have had the pleasure of working with Michael on a number of projects over the past 12 years. He has an incredible ability to work around obstacles (both financial and physical) to deliver plans that incorporate all of the must haves. He is patient and willing to redraft ideas until the client is in love with every part of the renovation/build. He has been beyond helpful with city approvals and the permit process and has remained fully engaged throughout the build and beyond. Michael is particularly knowledgeable about building materials and can readily recite the pros/cons of just about any stone, brick, insulation, roofing material, paint, finish, etc. that could be used. He is keen on the details and is willing to debate design decisions to insure the final product is both livable and fabulous looking. I cannot underscore enough how Michael’s talent and experience have helped cut away noise to push through the process quickly. I have recommended him to many friends/clients and will continue to work with him on any future design/build project(s).
