Lynn Forconi knows her field very weell. She made excellent recommendation on how to rearrange items in my home. I was very impressed that she was able to work with the material at hand and I dd not need to purchase additional furniture or other items. I would recommend her to others.

Lynn Forconi has posted pictures of the two bathrooms she designed for me in my little jewel of a townhouse. I wanted something elegant and high end on a budget that couldn't afford that look. She helped be get there by buying a stunning $72 mirror at Sears, that looks like it cost $720! And then we splurged on Lalique faucets at over $1K. By using that mindset of "high/low" we achieved both the look I wanted and got there within my budget. Similarly, for my bedroom she created a table cover and elegant trim from fabric taken from drapes ordered from a mass discount catalog. The end effect looks like designer silk, but cost far far less. That kind of creativity, an eye for detail, combined with cost and material flexibility, is what I treasure about Lynn. I have worked with her on several smaller projects since then. Now we are in the middle of replacing all the carpeting on the first floor with polished granite floor tiles and Lynn is designing faux "area rugs" of complementary tiles so I can get rid of all those hard-to-keep from straying and curling, wool area rugs. I am so excited to be working with Lynn again. It's been a wonderful collaboration lasting over several years now. I hope she never ever ever retires!!!

I have worked with Lyn Forconi over the past 15 years....whenever I needed fresh ideas, was changing paint colors---or just needed to bounce some ideas off of someone who I knew could be relied on for good design advice. She's good if you're redesigning a space "using just what you have" (a specialty of Lyn's) or, especially, if you're doing a big renovation. The contractors all seem to be men and they think they know what you want or have already made a decision--- not thinking to ask you. We consulted with Lyn and avoided some mistakes during our renovation---we only wish we had involved her more throughout the renovation! One of my favorite things about Lyn is that she's very good at the on-the-spot, quick sketch-- very helpful when you have a hard time visualizing a design idea. Lyn is very professional and always fun to work with. Great sense of humor and she really listens to you.

My husband and I had never worked with a designer before and were weary of the whole process, however as soon as Lynn walked through the door, we knew we had made the right decision. Lynn is professional, personable, passionate about her work, and highly knowledgeable. For our kitchen update, she came up with ideas that we had never even considered, such as moving existing cabinetry and appliances in order to create a better flow in the space. She also helped us choose the most beautiful paint colors, which we never could have put together on our own. Lynn not only opened our eyes to new possibilities for our space, but educated us in the process so that we could use the tools to create more beauty is other areas of our home. We loved working with her so much that we hired her again to help us with colors and furniture placement in the lower level of our new home. We highly recommend Lynn to all of our friends who are struggling with what to do with a space. She is incredibly creative and such a joy to work with. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I are complete newbies when it comes to home decorating. We recognize when we don't like something, however, we cannot come up with a vision from nothing. We needed help bringing together family pictures, miscellaneous art, furniture and color. Lynn and I instantly had a rapport when we connected and I knew we had the right designer. Lynn is easy going and focused on making changes that are right for you and your home. She works with what you have and makes suggestions on where minor changes can add texture, add color, or bring the room together. Lynn came in and instantly went to work moving furniture, moving artwork and drawing design ideas for the final layout of the first floor. She picked fabulous colors that worked with our furniture all the while making our smaller home seem larger. She added a bit of contrast with an accent wall and recommended continuing the accent color into throw pillows and even our front door. Lynn recommended staining the floor a darker color to tie in with the darker furniture and to hide some of the blemishes in the wood as we could not afford to replace the flooring. She helped us find fabulous contractors to help with painting, flooring and putting up custom blinds. She even went the extra mile getting one of our paintings framed for us! We are extremely delighted with our HOME and Lynn's work. She is great to work with, super creative, and supremely professional.

Working with Lynn of The Design Therapist is fun and exciting because it is an opportunity for you to be creative and learn. It is clear that she loves what she does and is able to take decorating and design to the next level. I worked with her when I bought my house over 12 years ago. She was easy to work with, and helped me to choose a beautiful paint palette for my home - one that still looks great. So, when I was ready to update my bathroom, I called her again and though many years had passed, her warmth and recognition made it seem like only a week had gone by. Lynn Forconi is absolutely a great designer!. We met thirteen years ago when she came to my house to help me with color, design, arrangement of the furniture that I had back then and to create a plan for what we can do with the empty rooms. Lynn has helped me enhance my house through the years, we started with living room, then dinning room, a whole new kitchen, foyer and now basement. I like her clarity, she listens to what I had to say and cares about my lifestyle and ideas. My house is a boomerang shape house, so really unconventional, and every time that we have people over, new ones and friends that have been there many times, we always hear compliments. I highly recommend Lynn for all your design needs.

Lynn Forconi was very professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. She gave me wall color advise on every room of my home and her final written color recommendation was excellent. I just handed it over to the painter and he went with it. She answered all my follow up questions as well as questions from the painter. The final result was a beautifully coordinated interior paint job. I highly recommend her.

Lynn helped me when we returned from overseas and had enough furniture for 2 houses the size of our current house. She was invaluable in helping sort thru what furniture to keep and then how to display the furniture and artwork. I cannot imagine how we could have done it without her. This was in the fall of 1998. Lynn has come back several more times to advise on colors (of paint, new roof), flooring, window treatments. She's very imaginative, but also works with what you have. I recommend her highly

Lynn is fantastic! She has a terrific sense of color and knows how to pop color with art. Also she rearranges furniture and art and works with what you have with suggestions for modifications and updating. She is wonderful.

Lynn provided many different design services for me over a period of several years from refining an existing decor, new furniture placement, reupholstery fabric selection, window treatments, custom furniture design, accessory selection, and paint color selection for every room in my house. Lynn can do anything and does everything well. She is very enthusiastic, great to work with, and very talented. She has great ideas and can walk into a room and immediately improve its look just by rearranging the furniture and accesories. Her attention to detail and knowledge as to how different colors work together is amazing. She is also conscious of each clients budget and taste, and works with each client to accomodate their taste and needs. I wish I had another house to decorate so I could use Lynn's services again.

Lynn helped us choose perfect paint colors for all of our rooms. We were fed up with our new construction builders beige. Lynn listened to what look we were aiming for, sophisticated and modern, and chose colors that my husband and I absolutely love. I couldn't have done it without her!
