Lynden Fenceworks

8 years ago I had Lynden put a fence around my backyard, about 50’ by 45’ for my pool. I have had absolutely no issues, I looks great and very sturdy. Nothing but praise for this company!

I hired Lynden Renovation to build a fence on my property in May 2017. They offered a 10 year warranty on their workmanship and the fence manufacturer offered a 5 year warranty on materials. The fence looked great after installation and I was very happy. By July 2020 the fence was starting to fall apart. They used the wrong screws that were rusting and breaking. I called Lynden many times and left multiple messages that were never returned. By May 2022 the fence is failing badly and desperately needs repairs so I’ll have to hire another contractor to fix it all. Terrible customer service.

It was time to replace the fence that surrounded our back yard (two levels with a large in-ground pool and surrounding concrete making up the entire lower level). The previous fence was cedar, put in at a point in time before the "good neighbor" bylaw required the best side to face the neighbors (because of the lot size, we have four). Even with annual maintenance, the cedar fence posts had rotted, the fence now leaned, it did not exactly conform to the property line and the boards were no longer attractive. Therefore, we were looking for: (1) low or no maintenance, (2) a product that looked good from both sides (3) something that provided privacy for the pool area and (4) and, most importantly, a contractor that I could trust. Denis from Lynden had recently completed a fencing job in our small neighborhood where there were some totally unanticipated setbacks which he rectified right away. After discussing our requirements with him, and knowing the product we would be getting, it was an easy decision to proceed. Our job was completed as scheduled, with no surprises and the final product looks great. We knew it would be expensive (because of the height of the fence, the fact that cables buried along the back of the yard meant that the post holes had to be dug by hand and the original plan was changed to satisfy one particular neighbor) but this was all explained to us beforehand and the result is totally worth it.

The company was very professional. The owner provided options and solutions that made sense for our particular situation with a bedrock close to the surface. They showed up on time on the installation day and their work was meticulous and clean. Bernard & Heidi

I purchased a Simtek fence for our front yard from Lynden this summer. Denis was great!! We live in Newfoundland and i was a little weary on making such a large purchase and having it shipped here from someone that i didn't know. Denis was always available and quick to answer all my calls, questions and emails. I would highly recommend them!!! Great product, pricing and service!! Nothing like it in our area and i have received numerous compliments on the fence. Thanks again Denis!
