I highly recommend Dunefsky Design Inc. for your home renovation project! Why? I recently purchased a 1bedroom that required gut renovation. I had a vision, but didn't know where to start or whom to trust. My broker and dear friend raved about and recommended that I look into Dunefsky Design Inc. I did. I searched for hours and compared Lisa Dunefsky's work with other designers & contractors. I decided to take my friend's advice just because she shares my taste & style with interior design concepts. I hired Lisa Dunefsky, who tweaked my ideas and made the end result a perfect realized dream that looks high-end and was very affordable to attain! Lisa (very patiently) listened to me. She understood me and what I expected from the customized built-in cabinets, kitchen, bathroom, etc., etc., etc. I was all over the place, but Lisa gently reminded me how to remain focused on my goal. Lisa also kept me on track with my desired budget--there were no financial surprises at any time during the renovation process. The anticipated timeline for the work was accurate, too. Lisa Dunefsky is reliable, accessible, and professional on every level. When I met her at the site, I appreciated how she interacted with the contractor and followed up with details that I didn't speak up about--even when I should have mentioned a question or concern on the spot. It's as if Lisa read my mind. Those were the times that I became convinced that Lisa honestly treated my vision with sensitivity and passion. I was her priority! Once the apartment was finished, it rented out a day or so after it was listed, to someone within the building who is interested in purchasing the unit. Am I a satisfied customer? YES! You will be, too!

She really cares about the client and project; she works diligently to define a strategy and coordinate the team to successfully execute her design plan within budget. Lisa staged my home to sell and she was amazing. She was friendly and helpful. She listened to my ideas and folded them into her own. I have no doubt that, thanks to her, my apartment sold for much more than I would have gotten otherwise! Highly recommend!!

Lisa and her team were unbelievable. They planned, renovated, staged and removed the furniture from our apartment for sale. Throughout the process, Lisa was so professional (as were all of her contractors, etc) and fairly priced. We also found her work (detail and style) to be just outstanding. So much so, that we would like to use her to help with decorating our house. Lisa also is an expert communicator - easily accessible and prompt. She went the extra mile to take stress off of us, basically managing the project from start to finish and rarely needing our help in the process. The apartment wound up with multiple offers and was in contract within 2 weeks of the first showing! We can't thank Lisa and her team enough and strongly suggest them as your team too!

I have always liked decorating and never thought I would need to hire someone when it was time for me to sell my apartment. As a single mom I had no time to do anything so I hired Lisa Dunefsky of Dunefsky design to stage my apt for a quick sale. I put my trust in Lisa and her team and the results were spectacular! Many who looked at my apt asked my broker for the name of my decorater. I will never again attempt to decorate an apt by myself! Lisa has a great eye for design, really listens to her clients, and was a pleasure to work with. I have already brought her in to help me design my new apartment!

Our real estate broker recommended Lisa Dunefsky to assist in renovating and staging our Upper East Side co-op in preparation for sale. While we were initially anxious as we approached what seemed to be an overwhelming and expensive project, we could not have been happier with the results that Lisa and her team produced. Lisa led us through the entire process, from proposals to budgets, material selection to staging. With her expert guidance, we renovated our kitchen and bathrooms, built bookshelves, replaced light fixtures, and painted the whole apartment. Lisa planned all the renovations and then personally supervised the work of the contractor. We did not have the stress of overseeing the work ourselves, yet felt comfortable giving Lisa our feedback on certain decisions. Lisa made us feel extremely included throughout the whole process, sending us frequent updates and receiving our feedback and questions with professionalism. Lisa also worked directly with our property manager and co-op board to receive all necessary approvals and to ensure that we were in compliance with the building’s relatively strict protocols. After completing the renovation, Lisa staged our apartment beautifully. We were floored by the results and, within two weeks of launch to market, we had an accepted offer and several back-up offers. We could not have done this without Lisa. She not only produces fantastic results; she is also an absolute pleasure to work with.
