Rachel Steely did a wonderful job helping us with our Master Bathroom remodel. It gave us great peace of mind knowing we had a knowledgeable and professional ally in the process and would definitely work with her again!

I’ve never worked before with someone as professional, knowledgeable, talented and helpful as Leila Douglah and her team. Our kitchen is amazing! The process is smooth and delightful. I would highly, highly recommend their service.

It’s the little things that make all the difference! After agonizingly researching wood verses luxury vinyl plank flooring we decided to go with LVP for our house (living room, dining room, stairs and second floor.) We were impressed with the LVP materials we saw at Luxe Home in Lafayette with sales person, Leila Douglah, who was very knowledgeable and helpful! She showed us the benefits of using LVP flooring made by Republic with hard finishes that are 100% waterproof. Luxe Home's pricing was competitive and Leila’s expertise came in handy in calculating how much material we needed. We already had our contractor lined up, so we purchased the material and that should have been the end of the story! As fate would have it, things kept happening and that lead me to writing this review. Luxe Home responded to our every need and did the little things that make all the difference! The first thing that came up was with my contractor. He wanted the flooring to be inside the house to acclimate before starting the job even though in big letters on the outside of the box clearly stated, "no acclimation required". When Rob Padaong of Luxe Home delivered the flooring, he went the extra step of putting the flooring in the kitchen verses the garage to help with acclimation and keeping our contractor happy. Second issue was a small design change on how our first step would be done. This caused us to run short on nose material for that step. I called Nancy Glieden at the store and she responded with fantastic customer service. We had the piece the next afternoon, which kept my contractor happy! Next there was confusion on how to install the material on the stairs. I tried contacting the manufacture to no avail. So I called Luxe Home, talked to Leila, and settled the confusion for my contractor. Again, he was able to keep working which made him happy. Lastly, we wanted to wait until the flooring was mostly down before ordering the transition pieces to calculate exactly what styles and quantities were required. Diane Smith made sure the correct materials were expedited for us. Rob called us as soon as they arrived at the warehouse the next afternoon. Can’t tell you how important this was. My contractor was just starting to clean up to leave for his next project and wouldn’t be able to return to do the transition pieces for 2 weeks. He had allowed 5 days for the job, and because of all the quick responses and excellent customer service from Luxe Home and staff, he was able to finish the job, including the transition pieces, that afternoon and on time. My contractor had warned me before starting the job that there would probably be some kind of issue with materials or such beyond his control that would not allow him to finish in the 5 days. Any time beyond the 5 days, we were going to have to pay time & material for his work when he could get to it. So again, it’s the little things that make all the difference! Our floors turned out fantastic (pictures attached). There is an old saying happy wife, happy life! I think they should change it to happy contractor, happy job. I know that may not rhyme, but in this case it sure worked, as we are happy customers! When I first went into Douglah Designs’ Luxe Home store, I had no intention of hiring a designer for our master bathroom remodel. We’re very experienced and capable DIYers, and I just wanted to browse their high-end products and displays for inspiration – there doesn’t seem to be anywhere upscale to do that anymore. I was greeted by Laura, with whom I was very candid I was not looking to hire anyone. This didn’t offend or put her off in the least; instead, she showed great interest in all the prep I had with me (photos, notes, and measurements), and started brainstorming and directing me around to various items she thought would work for our room. It was instantly apparent we had similar taste, and I was so impressed at how quickly the room was taking shape with her help. But I was certain we couldn’t afford to work with her on a modest DIY budget, and I told her so. She then whipped out a calculator and started to run numbers based on my measurements and the types of materials we were looking at. The end total was much less than I expected, and it didn’t seem as if our materials budget could become an issue. We wound up hiring Douglah to design our bathroom on a contract that required us to purchase all materials through them in exchange for design services. We came in under budget, and our finished bathroom is gorgeous and most definitely better than anything we could have designed on our own. Laura was a true pleasure to work with from start to finish, and we would absolutely recommend them for any home improvement needs. We plan to add on to our home in a few years, and we will definitely come back to Douglah Designs and Luxe Home for their assistance when the time comes.

Her efficient, gracious customer service, and the level of detail and accountability she demonstrated on our master bathroom remodel project was outstanding. Laura, carefully listened to our design ideas and truly understood our likes and wants and was instrumental in assisting us to achieve our dream bathroom. These days it is not often that a sales associate goes beyond the extra mile to ensure a client's piece of mind and satisfaction, however it simply was a pleasure dealing with Laura. She took every measure to make sure we were completely satisfied from start to finish of our project. It is good to know that there are some companies that still believe in good client services. I have no doubt that we will once again return to Luxe Home when we start our next remodel project. Once again, it was a pleasure doing business with Luxe Home and we hope that the relationship and friendship that we have developed with Laura will be a long standing one.
