This builder goes by a number of different disguises. Hanson is the one that got me. The deceptively polite Jonas Stanius too £80k off me to build a rear extension. He was a complete nightmare to deal with. I was pushed to the back of the queue at every opportunity. What was a 3 month project turned into 6 months. His men ruined neighbour relationships forever, noisy, inconsiderate and rude. Fast forward 6 years, I have to completely reroof the entire extension which will cost me £3k+. Avoid this chap, don’t fall for it.

Lux Construction was recommended to us by our friends and we have no regrets for working with this company. Our project was not easy but their staff is so highly qualified that they dealt with it with ease. We are impressed.

I would like to recommend Hansen and company as the very professional refurbishment company. I had to do a refurbishment on our house and I carried out the full due diligence tendering beforehand. They met all my family expectations on paper first and then in work quality. The workers are the real professionals, as well as project manager Jonas. Lux Construction was a real life-saver for us. We tried to look into permits and regulations to ourselves but got overwhelmed with the obstacles we encountered, especially dealing with the Hounslow Council planning department. We almost gave up, but decided to call Lux Construction because a friend recommended them, and it’s the best decision we could have made! With their help, everything went smoothly and stress free, and now we have a completely new house!

We required help for a challenging project and requested several quotes. Lux Construction were the only ones to tell us straight what additional changes would be needed to comply with building regulations. They were clear on the challenges and issues we might expect to arise, as well as costs and time needed to complete the project. They also gave us regular updates during the works, including photos, as the Project Manager would carry out regular inspections to check on progress. Our house was totally refurbished from top to bottom. We are very happy with the quality of the work done and with their honesty and professionality.

We used Lux Construction for a loft conversion that required technically challenging internal and external rearrangements. The whole project was managed very well and delivered on time with a very high quality. In the beginning, we were assigned a project coordinator who took care of regulations and everything related to planning. They made suggestions and always checked with us to make sure we were happy before proceeding, including with quote and time scale. We were then assigned a team that carried out the works. The builders were professional and very respectful of the house and the neighbourhood. We are incredibly happy with the results.

We cannot thank Lux Construction enough. Our project was not an easy one, as it consisted of a side return extension in conjunction with our neighbours. We were not sure how to even approach it, but after an initial meeting with a project manager, they gave us a detailed plan and explained step by step how we would get to the desired result. We were very happy and impressed indeed! They gave us an acceptable time frame and price, so we decided to proceed immediately, and we know we made the right decision. The builders were all very polite, professional, quiet and very hard-working. They even swept the floor before leaving every evening to keep the disruption to a minimum! When unforeseen issues arose, Lux Construction immediately informed us and found logical and effective solutions. The project more or less ran to time and budget. We are very grateful because we couldn’t have done it without them, and we are very pleased with the results for sure!

They were a little late once due to a glitch, but they came in over the weekend to make up for the delay. They were also very thoughtful – they separated our living areas so we were not inconvenienced during the works. I would definitely recommend their services! Very different from all our past experiences with construction companies and builders. Nothing went wrong with Lux Construction! We very much appreciated the support of the office staff. There was always someone on hand to answer any queries, and their frequent updates meant we always knew what was going on. The project management took a big weight off our shoulders, and we felt we were in safe hands. We have recommended them to friends since. It could have been a very different experience with a less professional team, but Lux Construction laid all the details out and did not change the card on the table or increase prices halfway through the project.
