Lucy Harris has helped us choosing wall colors and furnishing our 2 floors Penthouse in Tribeca coordinating with the builders and the architect. She was very professional and super organized. Always present in the apartment when the furniture was delivered to make sure that the white gloves treatment was respected. In one case, inspecting a piece, she found a small defect. She re-ordered the same piece of furniture and managed to make us use the defected one until the new piece arrived 6 months later at no cost. She worked within the budget and delivered on time. She was very helpful in decision making, always full of ideas but never pushy. She has a deep knowledge of the products and an incredible sense of aesthetic. It was an extremely positive experience to work with her!

I recently completed a sizeable decorating project in our NYC apartment with Lucy Harris Studio, and I am thrilled with the outcome. Lucy and her associates created a floor-plan that functioned for our large family and designed a space that is unique and comfortable. Lucy and her team have a sophisticated eye when it comes to all aspects of design, especially color and fabric selections. Many of my pieces were custom-made to our exact liking. We hired decorative painters to create one of a kind walls in the powder room and hallway. My space was lacking adequate lighting, the fixtures she selected are functional works of art. They are meticulous when it comes to details, organization, and presentation. They are always prepared and quick to respond to my questions or concerns and stayed true to the timeline established. They stayed on budget and were present at the install to oversee every detail. The minor mishaps (scratched nightstand and rug color not as expected) were addressed immediately and resolved professionally. My husband and I hired Lucy to decorate our new apartment in the West Village - we were starting from a completely blank slate and needed help across all rooms in the house. Lucy and her team worked with our tight timeline (we hired her 1 month before we moved in), explained how the process would work, and got to work right away drafting concert boards for each room. Her contract and fee proposal were straightforward and we had no issues throughout the process - her team kept us posted on where we stood on our budget and we were never pushed to stretch outside of our original plan. At every stage, she would work with us to get a sense of the style and look we wanted and then present several options for the pieces in each room. Once we selected what we liked, her team handled everything from billing to delivery and made the process seamless. She offered direction and guidance for each room, but also made sure to listen to what it was that we were looking for and how we would use the room. She did a great job merging both of our styles into each room (not an easy task) and we are thrilled with the outcome and how easy the entire process was. Would definitely recommend for large projects or just a single room in need of a facelift!

I worked with Lucy, who was our project manager for our Chelsea loft renovation. Lucy managed every aspect of the renovation, which was turning our 1-bedroom 2500-foot loft for a childless couple into a 3-bedroom apartment for a family of four. She was involved in helping to choose the paint colors, fixtures, lighting position, cabinetry and materials.
