Stacey is a friend, neighbor and fun-to-work with professional. She has re-done the master bedroom and living room in my house to my total satisfaction. She instinctively knows my taste and eliminates a lot of time I'd waste pouring over samples.

Excellent service, easy to work with, great ideas but also listens to the client. We have used Lou Lou's more than once both for our RI and FL properties. They have provided full service decorating including painting, wall and floor coverings, furniture etc. We highly recommend them.

I have had the pleasure of working with Stacy Carlson at Lou Lou's on a number of occasions, and I absolutely love the results in my vacation home. She incorporated elements of the nearby sea and its association with summer days (beachy colors, light, breezy fabrics, a sun-faded feel) but also incorporated warm, cozy features that embrace and warm us as we snuggle in during the winter months. One thing I have really appreciated is how Stacy allows us to participate fully in the project; she doesn't "take over" our house as some designers do. This collaboration has been very satisfying and has resulted in our home feeling truly "ours." Another great feature of working with Stacy is that she has an appreciation for local artisans whose creations make each of her projects unique.

As is usual, I won back many of the gifts I solicited for a fundraiser. This one was a gift certificate for Lulu's for a consultation and a discount. I had one chair - the sorriest of chairs - to reupholster. Because I fancy myself a reasonable decorator, I am genuinely surprised when someone offers advice better than my own. Courtney was indeed better and took me in an entirely new direction from what I as thinking. "Her" chair always brings compliments and I think of her every time I look at it.

Lou Lou's Decor decorated my summer home top to bottom. My experience was quite positive as Stacy and Brett Carlson were so easy to work with. They were always responsive and went above and beyond to deliver the most gorgeous and lovely home we could ever imagine. Although the majority of the project was completed after the home was built in 2002, they have continued to add wonderful touches to our decor throughout the years.

Stacy has helped my wife and me design and install about 80% of the interior of our modest but beautiful home in Rhode Island. She combines expert knowledge of products and providers with a keen sense of her customers' tastes, sensibilities and lifestyles. I've known her for years and I have seen her work in her own home, in mine, in several model homes, and in the homes of other friends and customers. Every Stacy Carlson installation is beautifully detailed and remarkably well done. Stacy does a great job of helping clients sort through scores of fabric and color options, pulling together wonderfully cohesive and expressive combinations, then calculating the measurements, materials and specifics required to create each component. She always listens, always remembers, keeps great notes and records, communicates effectively and often. Most importantly Stacy loves her work, and it shows at every point along the way, ultimately in how beautiful your house looks when she finishes your project!! She does her homework, shows up with ideas, initiates conversations, stays out in front of the process, then follows through with reliable delivery, installation, final adjustments and service after the sale. I just couldn't be happier with Stacy. She has shown and taught me a great deal about what can be done with fabrics, finishes, fittings, fixtures, flooring, and furniture. I cannot say enough about the excellent service that Stacy and her staff provide. I was consistently impressed with the beautiful work they do and the timely manner in which they do it. After Stacy performed her magic in my new kitchen and living room, my guests raved about the transition. I highly recommend Lou Lou's for all your home decorating projects. The project included window treatments, creating and upholstering window seat cushions and headboards. Stacy worked with me to find just the right fabrics and treatments. She was creative, patient and extremely knowledgable about a multitude of products and vendors. We had worked with Stacy and other Loulousdecor staff before -also with great results - and look forward to doing so again.

The most recent being window treatments for my living room, along with accessories such as monogrammed pillows, lamps and art work. The workmanship at Lou Lou's is outstanding, and Stacy and her crew were very professional and easy to work with. They also came in and hung the art work on my walls! Great team! Stacy is amazing at her work! My past 3 houses have all been designed by Lou Lous Decor. She can take a boring room and make it fun and colorful. Contemporary beachy themes and fabulous blue hues are her signature style and if I have an idea she will find it out there for my house.

My husband and I just bought our first home and had no furniture to fill it let alone a cohesive design plan. We love elegant living, but we're a bit quirky as well, loving beach cottage, rustic , french country vintage, and clean lines. We found Courtney Bauer at Lou Lou's decor in Portsmouth and WOW. We needed the entire first floor of our house furnished, painted and accessorized. She has transformed our chaotic thoughts into the perfect home. She is very nice and understanding, picked up on our design style immediately and has been so patient with us during this entire process. She never pushed us into getting anything we were not comfortable with and actually found some wonderfully quirky things to put in the house and still made everything work. We are still not done with the rest of the house (we've got another two floors to go) and we will certainly work with Courtney again. Courtney helped me choose paint colors for a house we bought in another state. It was difficult to envision the whole project on my own; the whole house needed interior paint. Courtney took a look at key pieces of furniture and rugs that I know we'll keep, then helped me pick the colors. She was knowledgeable and helpful. She did a great job.
