Working with several magazine photos and discussions with my wife, Lou Purin took this and developed plans to build a top quality built in custom double bunk bed and ladder. He recommended available space from the end of the bunks to the outside wall be used for under bed drawers and lots of built in storage drawers doors and shelves Before work began we had a written detailed project proposal. The project used top quality 3/4“ birch plywood and 2 x 4 construction. The project was built in their shop, disassembled and transported and reconstructed to form a built in floor to ceiling bunk bed and storage system. We were very pleased with the Contractors trust worthiness, promptness, quality and level of construction. They added several outlets and bunk bed lighting. Their workmanship including painting was very professional and they treated our property with respect. We would highly recommend Anchor Wood Products for a top quality job. If you want to cut corners and use particle board or OSB they are not the contractor you would hire.

We were looking to turn a front entry room into a 4th bedroom area to make our house work better for us. Some friends had some rustic barn doors installed by Lou & she gave me his card. I explained what I was looking for/trying to do & was quickly given a quote/sketch. We were not looking for rustic & wanted them to match our home decor & that was exactly what we got. Very happy with how everything turned out. He also made a beautiful transom window to go above on of the doors & it's wonderful. They look beautiful & have provided function to a room that we never used. Very pleased.

I'd like to write a review about Lou and his business. We met Lou a few years ago when we wanted to have a bunkbed built for our son. We didn't want just any bunkbed, we wanted something custom-made and American made, with a beachy look and a desk/built-in bookshelves. He also added custom-made steps with built in storage! He worked with us to pick the exact milk paint finish we were after, and it came out great! And then, a year and a half later when my son had an incredible growth spurt of 5 inches, Lou and his team came out to our house and modified the bed to raise it and make it young teen ready. Since then Lou has built several other projects for us. He helped make an awkward part of our house into an amazing outdoor closet for our pool. He is also currently making custom pet furniture for our pooches. Lou and his team have been absolutely professional and to be honest I feel like they're part of our family after all this. We bought 2 bunk beds. They are made to last a life time. Really sturdy. Great workmanship. Delivered on time and set them up for us. Very pleased and have recommended Anchor Wood to my friends. One fried bought a bunk bed for his mountain house. I saw it and liked it. They were also pleased with this company.

Anchor Wood does beautiful work and will design to your specifications. The desk fit nicely into the space for which I had it built. The wood is beautiful and matched my furniture.

Last year after a long search my husband and I hired Lou to build us a custom cabinet for the media room of our newly built home. Lou came out one evening, took measurements, asked what we were envisioning and went to work. The next day we received drawing/specs and a quote for the cost and the time it would take. We immediately hired him for the job and we couldn't be happier with the results. Very professional and great value for the customized look he provided. We would use them again for any future customized projects.

I have hired the Anchor Wood team for several projects: creating custom bookcases for the sides of my fireplace that look built in, a similar but different bookcase design in another part of the room (and the room looks so elegant), a door for an open cubbyhole in our garage, transforming and refurbishing an antique map cabinet that I had kept out of sentimentality and now it's the centerpiece of my dining room. Lou, Caleb, and the whole team are professional, open to ideas, creative, and craftsmen of the highest order. You will love working with them.

We are very pleased with the loft bed Lou and the Anchor Wood team made for my son. It is a solid well built bed that will last him many years.
