Laura Bauers

For most of our project, we worked with Laura from half-way across the country to plan a fantastic, creative bedroom-bathroom home addition utilizing the existing 1930's house and the steep yard behind. She is extremely attentive to client needs/wants/preferences and is ambitious to develop many parallel ideas to find the excellent solutions for challenging problems. Laura blends sophisticated design, budget, and practicality into her process. From our standpoint, it was fairly effortless. Furthermore, after encountering persnickety zoning ordinance issues at the 11th hour, Laura quickly produced a simple modification that green-lighted our project. We are hoping to break ground spring of 2018, after the northern New England thaw. Highly recommended!

Laura helped us through a renovation of a condo. In a confined space the design came out great and added an extra full bath, a walk in closet, and a giant open kitchen. A complete transformation that optimized the space. Laura thought of so many little things and tried so many options that we, as homeowners, did not.

Could not be more pleased with Laura's services. We renovated our kitchen and Laura made the process SO much easier. She took detailed measurements of the space to create multiple digital representations and then presented us with professional renderings of her remodel options. She answered all of our questions and was happy to take all of our input into making the perfect kitchen plan. We presented Laura's precise project plan to our contractor (with detailed measurements!) so there were no surprises. Though we did find a contractor on our own, I would have been happy to have Laura act as Project Manager and take that on as well (frankly would opt to do that in the future). Laura's talents speak for themselves and she provided us with what might matter most in any renovation/build project: Peace of Mind.
