Short version: Live In The Dream did an excellent job, and we highly recommend them. Long version: Neil's estimate was competitive and his reviews and pictures spoke highly of his work, so we selected him as our contractor to juggle a series of projects in our historic home. He, and those he hired, did an outstanding job! Of special note: He and his apprentice are artisans...there is nothing shabby about their work. Neil worked with us to combine our practical needs, our budget, and our vision to update our home while incorporating and respecting the history of the house. Secondly, Neil and his apprentice worked amazingly together...Neil trained as they worked, and his assistant, Caden, was very capable and had an incredible work ethic. Neil was patient with my indecisiveness, and worked until we were pleased on each project. They were very respectful to us and one another at all times. They were friendly, yet as noninvasive to our family as possible, considering the scope of their work. They were positive role models to our children. The result is beautiful! Solid and hand crafted. The jobs he outsourced met up to the same expectations. The scope of his work here included installing a french drain to dry our basement, interior drywall, demolition, construction of a porch room from the foundation, electrical work, house insulation, a new roof, siding and trim, replacement of windows/custom doors, and repairing age-damage discovered along the way, We are thankful for the excellent work they did.

Neil drywalled our basement after we had some water damage in the spring. The job was completed quickly with expertise. We also had Neil replace a French door with a sliding patio door. The trim work is perfect. We are hoping to have hardwood floors throughout our home. Neil provides beautiful work timely and stress free.

My husband and I relocated from NC last June and moved into a house with great potential for being our dream home. After interviewing a few contractors in the area it was clear that it was going to be difficult to find anyone that shared a creative vision for the house. I found Neil Sonne through Houzz.com and was pleased to find the person that was going to bring the creative component to all of our projects. So far Neil has installed the most beautiful hickory flooring throughout the house has remodeled an awfully outdated bathroom, landscaped the front yard, and has plans for the master suite, kitchen and outside decking. I have been so pleased with the finished products and our working relationship that there will be no other contractors for me. Being a perfectionist myself, I recommend Neil to those home owners that are interested in quality work at a reasonable price and to those that won't settle for typical or boring. I have a feeling that Neil and I will be working on projects together for some time and will look at the finished projects with great pleasure.

We purchased an older home knowing that it needed extensive work to bring it into the 21st century. N-Sequence was able to work with me to refine my vision, complete all aspects of the remodel, and stay within my budget. The work included a complete remodel of the kitchen, two bathrooms, and a laundry room (replacing all cabinets, counter tops, lighting, floors, fixtures and appliances). He also added additional lighting to the lower level of the house, moved a hot water heater, and replaced all the flooring. The true master piece of this house was a custom office/guestroom. N-Sequence built all custom desks, shelves, window bench, and Murphy bed. I absolutely love this room, and beside the kitchen it is the hardest working room in the house. N-Sequence was a pleasure to work with. Neil communicated well, provided quality craftsmanship, stayed on time and within budget. We would hire him again and gladly recommend him.

I wrote a bit of a long winded renovation story as my review, but I’ll save you from it and say simply that working with Neil has been a pleasure. My home’s tiny kitchen was a cancer to the eyes, and yet Neil managed to single handedly gut and rebuild it into a kitchen beyond my expectations. It was delivered in a timely fashion, with frequent progress updates, and valuable feedback when I needed it. I have zero regrets and can give no higher praise then to say that he has been recommended to my friends and family, and that Neil WILL be the first person I reach out to for other renovation projects on the property. Neil, Excellent work!

Neil did a great job on our split stone fire place install. Good communication and punctual, plan on having Neil do several upcoming projects to include a wrap around deck, bathroom remodel, etc. Thank you!

I noticed Neil working on a house beside my home. He was replacing the wood siding and several decks, so I watched him work on it for a few weeks; I was impressed. I needed to replace my deck and also I wanted to do a lot of the work myself. I spoke to Neil, He was happy to help me at whatever level I wanted. First, he created a drawing of a deck improvement he envisioned for my house, I loved it. After I removed the old Deck, and poured the footers according to Neil's instruction, he came by and expertly and quickly built a rather large deck, 700 square feet over a period of about 5 days. Neil's work is meticulous and done correctly and His hourly rate is surprisingly reasonable. Neil is an expert carpenter and architect, easily able to envision and build from his own designs if you are looking for something original.

-N- Sequence Construction renovated our kitchen with new flooring, painting, lighting, countertops, etc. Mr. Sonne did an outstanding job in each aspect of the project. He kept us informed of his progress, notified us if there was a change in plan, cleaned up after himself each day. His creativity enhanced what we were hoping to accomplish with this project; he was very personable in all his dealings with us, and demonstrated excellent craftsmanship. We are very pleased!!!

Neil served as the general contractor for our project which consisted of adding a vapor barrier and red cedar shingles our a forty year old building that had begun to have several water leaking problems. All areas of rot were removed and filled and all of the window and door trim was replaced and the shingles hung, Various changes were made on the interior including a new kitchen and bathroom plus various wall changes. Neil did most of the work himself which he did with skill and craftsmanship. Neil was organized and did what he said he would do for the pre agreed to budgets. I thoroughly recommend him and his work. I am an architect so I am pretty particular about the work that gets done for me.

Mr Sonne is smart, experienced, detailed oriented, extremely conscientious person to work with. His final product exceeded all expectations, professionally and artistically. His work is well above normal standards. He is extremely skilled at finishing touches and very efficient in material use with no waste. He maintained a very clean organized work site. He keeps you advised of project status as it proceeds. Mr Sonne is highly skilled and a wonderful fun person to work with.

We employed -N-Sequence Construction Services to undertake major renovations for our country house situated in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. The company designed and built a large outdoor deck accessible from our living room and kitchen, installed a new metal roof, restored an observation (lookout) tower, installed a new metal roof, and strengthened support structures throughout the interior of the property.. All of these projects were completed to a high standard and have more than met our expectations.
