Lindus Construction/Midwest LeafGuard

We have had Lindus do renovation construction for us over the last 10-15 years. We keep having them back because they do excellent work. We started out getting competitive quotes from local home improvement companies. I was most impressed with the Lindus representative, along with Andy Lindus who had a Saturday morning home improvement show on WCCO radio in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area. Their prices were competitive, not the cheapest, but the best value in our judgement. We selected Lindus to do the entire job: siding, windows, insulation, doors, and Leaf Guard gutters. The construction took a couple weeks during the fall. We were very pleased and there was minimum disruption of our daily routine, which surprised us. Everything has worked very well, the windows are solid, the insulation keeps us warm in the winter along with keeping the electric and heating bills reasonable. The Leaf Guard gutters eliminated water problems in our basement, which had been a problem for us for years. They did an outstanding job. When we did have some questions they came back and corrected concerns we had. Because of that performance we had them install out back entry deck, it was a relatively small job, but it is really cool!! Again we liked the quality of the work, so we had them reside our garage. There was a minor problem with the garage siding, so I called them to correct it. Two of Lindus's people came out, corrected the problem in no time at all. While there they asked if anything else needed attention. I mentioned the garage service door was not closing as I liked. They checked it out, I showed them my concern, and for the next couple hours they reinstalled the door! It works perfectly. They came out to fix a siding glitch, and reinstalled the door, that was outstanding not to mention showing their versatility. This spring (2022) we had hail storms, which resulted in significant damage to our roofs. Because of their previous performance I selected Lindus for the quote and to do the installation of a new roof. Lucas Trickle the Lindus representative worked with my State Farm Adjusters to get everything approved to our satisfaction. Once that was done we scheduled the installation of the roof. The shingles were torn off and reinstalled in one day! The crew started at 7am and were done by 7pm!! It was incredible, they cleaned everything up, we couldn't even find any nails!! And believe me when your roof is torn off and reinstalled there are a lot of nails and debris, yet my wife and I walked about when they were done and couldn't find anything!!! That was the initial installation of the roof. Over the next couple weeks, Lindus people come out to complete various details that needed attention. As far as I was concerned the job was completed, and we are very satisfied. That has been the history of our relationship with Lindus Construction.

Lindus construction provides excellent work and they do their own internal inspections to meet client expectations. They replaced some new cupboard doors that they caught flaws in during installation. They listen and respond to questions throughout the project and clean up is outstanding remembering that renovation does come with dust and noise. My kitchen remodel should be done in a couple weeks! This is the third project they have done for me and they are worth every penny.

It was a pleasure dealing with Lindy’s Construction for the purchase and install of gutters on my house. A board behind the gutter had rotted and needed to be replaced. Lindy’s had to remove the gutter as the authorized dealer for Leafguard. My only complaint would be that the price was a bit high. The workman were efficient and professional. They arrived as scheduled, did the work efficiently, cleaned up and left the worksite as good or better than before. Lindy’s Construction was a pleasure to work with.

Even with unexpected shipping delays with materials, Lindus Construction plowed through installing new windows, siding, gutters, soffits, facia AND fixed our patio covering as soon as was possible, working outside in JANUARY during freezing temps. We had extreme drainage issues that they engineered to fix and they went the extra mile in so many ways. Professional, reliable and timely. Their inspector's final touch-up fixes reassured us all was good. Also, they had the best variety of colors/materials over other companies we looked into. We're happy, glad we chose them, worth every penny.

I had windows put in. They were on time getting here, & very nice. The work was great, I would never have guessed that block windows installed in the basement would be so pretty. I still marvel at them when I go downstairs. And it was great to have them open in the summer for air movement. They had someone come back to check the work & fix anything he thought was not perfect. The whole experience was great & when I need a new roof, they will be who I call.

Completed project. Took a little longer. Mistake made with window color but corrected it. Always polite and considerate. Last inspection was a quality control and I was impressed with him and his thorough inspection. Great job

Due to hail damage I needed to have my Leafguard gutters replaced. they did a very nice job and there was no debris left behind. I made a change in part of the gutter system and the were very accommodating.

The Lindus people were efficient and quick taking out the old insulation and adding new spray foam and blow-in . All was done within the estimated time frame and the residuals were cleaned up. A good job was done.

This is the 2nd time using Lindus.. I came BACK to them for a reason. They are straight forward. relaible folks. GOt the job done well.

The Lindus crew that worked on my house was great! We had our large house re-sided, new brick, soffit and fascia, and gutters. They provided status updates, answered my questions, and provided great recommendations when we ran into the inevitable hiccup of replacing old with new. Their quality control process is above and beyond anything I have ever experienced which left me with an amazing end result in which I felt 100% confident in the lasting power.

Lindus did a great job with our home project. Team communicated progress and timing of the project, before and throughout installation. There were a few minor issues, which they addressed in a timely manner and completed to our satisfaction. Lindus took our order for triple pane sliding glass door and two windows with inside screens and crank out lower windows and matching indoor trim and completed the installation complletly to our satisfaction. Wonderful workman and very , quiet and warm units. Highly recommended Lindus

The team at Lindus are very nice people to deal with. Had hail damage summer of 2022 and Lindus handled the whole project. We are going to add a sun room this coming summer and we will have them do that. A GREAT Company that you can trust and have the job done right.

Lindus did an exceptional job from start to finish. We are very happy with the quality products they used and the beautiful job their workers did on the whole house. Communication was never an issue. They were so quick to respond and kept us informed well in advance when each phase of the project was to happen. When we had reluctance from the insurance company they stepped up and resolved the issues directly with them, copying us on all emails. We were very happy using them for our project!

I appreciate that lindus is honest and straight forward providing a quality product. Leaf guard is a great product hat I’ve had on 2 homes that requires no maintenance and just works well.

After doing their quality control check of my deck project, they identified an issue with the step height. They came out in very cold winter weather and corrected the issue. I was very impressed with their professionalism.

I contacted this company due to their wonderful reviews on Houzz. I contacted Lindus, and they promptly replied and arrived for an estimate before anyone else. We are older yet quite savvy homeowners who have been through several home remodeling projects. The estimate from this company came in 300% higher than the other four estimates. For example: replacing the already wired bathroom fans with exact-sized bath fans sold at Home Depot for less than $150 would cost $2000. We had no prior contact with this company, nor do we beef with them; this is an honest review. The purpose is to make others aware that the Houzz reviews may not entirely represent the company's performance.

Lindus replaced Gail damaged LeafGuard system. They were thorough and professional just as where they did the original installation. I contacted them for the replacement because of the outstanding original service and was pleased to have a similar experience.

I hired Lindus Construction to remove and replace my 31 year old home gutter system with LeafGuard gutters back in May/June 2021. With my old gutter system, my sump pump was running all the time it seemed year round. Since the installation of this new fantastic LeafGuard system, my sump pit has been bone dry ever since. I have nothing but positive thins to say about this company. I have now used it for multiple projects over the years. From Leaf Guard to steel siding to decking and general repair all has gone well. They don't start a project until they are ready to complete it. There is stop/start with them. They start it and complete it and then go on to the next customer. Never have them given me the cheapest bid but the quality of their workmanship is always superb so I give them the job. Only once have I needed a follow up service. This was done quickly and at no additional cost.

I needed new gutters, soffit and fascia installed. I wanted gutters that I wouldn't have to clean. From the research that I did, I determined that LeafGuard gutters were the way to go, so I contacted Lindus Construction. During the installation and the removal of the old soffit, it proved to be very clear that my roof overhang over the porch area of my house was not constructed correctly. It was only a matter of time before it would collapse. Lindus quickly came up with a solution which required the addition of a beam and 4 cedar posts. Change orders can often be very expensive, but Lindus charged me a fair price for the additional work. The work was quickly completed and I am very satisfied with the result. The installers showed a fine attention to the details and were obviously very skilled. Lindus Construction was very easy to work with, including all the people doing the actual work. I have gotten many compliments about how attractive the cedar posts are and how they have actually improved the appearance of my home. Now that 9 months have passed, I can say that the Leafguard gutters have performed flawlessly and look great too. I would definitely recommend Lindus Construction, and if I need more work done, I will be calling them.

I was very impressed with the installers. they were very professional, friendly, and showed a great deal of care for both our home and for keeping us safe during this time of COVID. Installation was top notch, the interior and exterior match wonderfully. great craftsmanship. We especially appreciated their post-installation quality control review. Their inspector found a couple of issues that we hadn't noticed with the install and corrected them on the spot. After having the windows for a number of months now, We really appreciate the quality and the noticeable change in heating and cooling.

I have found Lindus Construction and their Leaf Guard product and outstanding company to work with. We had LeafGuard Gutters put on our house some 20 years ago by Lindus and found their pricing and quality of workmanship among the best contractors ever. Over the years we had some adjustments to the gutters and they promptly came out and did the adjustments. This year we had storm due to hail and our insurance company allowed us to have Lindus Construction replace our gutters and downspouts . They immediately came out and recommended a newer updated product and sent a crew out in a timely manner and swap out the old product. Would highly recommend and use Lindus Construction without a doubt. However, with the lifetime, 50 year warranty on the roofing, soffits, and LeafGuard installed, it will have to be when moving to another house. Everyone was professional, pleasant to work with, and quick to address any glitches (very few) that came up.

Putting on the Leaf Guard Gutters was the best thing I ever did. No more plugged gutters with leaves and no more heat cables to keep the gutters from freezing up in the winter with the large down spouts. They create a very nice look on the entire house. Very highly recommended if you have large trees or just need to have maintenance free gutters!!!

Your tech get a great job in less than a full day sealing the basement rim joists. The house seems to be a lot warmer this winter now that winter has started. Its a good feeling to be warmer!

What a great company.! I had heard about them on WCCO and thought I would give them a try. They installed a window where there wasn't one and it turned out great. The installation was top notch and the guys doing the work were great. Would definitely recommend them for any of your home improvement needs. We will be using them again soon.

I purposely waited to write this review to see how our new gutters would handle a Minnesota winter - and even with the record-breaking snow in February...and not to mention the cold and ice that had people spending $$$ to have ice dams professionally melted off their roofs...we didn't have any problems with ice dams or water in our basement. Needless to say, we are very happy with our gutters! The installation team did what they said they were going to do and on-time; the gutters look great; and the initial investment has actually saved us money. Thanks.

We have used Lindus for several projects in two of our homes. Over the past few years they have installed insulation, Leafguard, windows, and sun tunnel. We hired Lindus to replace several windows in our home with the SeasonGuard windows. By far we made the correct choice. Both of the windows face the north west and have really proven it was the correct choice. Even on several sub zero mornings the interior glass was still not cold. Additionally, their installation techniques will prove to keep out any infiltration of moisture or air leakage. They will definitely be replacing the rest of my windows and doors in the near future.

Very pleased with my new Azek deck, which had to be built on an irregular site that presented some construction challenges. The Lindus crews were perfectionists and unfailingly prompt and polite. I’d hire them again.

We had another great experience with Lindus construction this past fall. Estimator Chris come out and explained our options for a roof replacement. He was very professional and knowledgeable, sharing various options available to us. Lindus kept us up to date with material ordering, delivery and start date. Josh and David supervised the job and answered any questions we had during the installation. The roofers were careful, conscientious and worked efficiently. During the installation, our new puppy got scared and ran off. Josh and David assisted us in finding her along with the installers being look outs from the roof. Fortunately, we found our puppy safe and sound! We highly recommend Lindus construction.

We've used Lindus Construction for all of our needs over the past 15 years.. They have replaced all of our gutters on our 2 story house, put gutters on our screened porch and then again put gutters on our new addition. Each time they were professional and so easy to work with. They even tied in new gutters with existing gutters to eliminate additional down spouts. Like the ad says, I don't have to clean them anymore. I plan on reviewing other projects I need to get them to work on.

Then we get our normal early winter weather, the two men came out and did a very nice job on a very lousy day. Everything was installed, area cleaned, like it was a summer day. Lindus was professional and timely from the beginning of our project through the end. They were easy to work with and we love how nice our gutters look. We’ve even had them back out to do some changes due to landscaping we did. Always great customer service!

Lindus installed Season Guard windows and patio doors in our home. They are a nice product, a huge improvement in looks and efficiency. Installation went fine, a few issues cropped up that required multiple trips to complete. Both Andy Lindus and Josh the construction manager were great to deal with. Phone calls and text were answered immediately. Kudos to them. Jake did a great job with the interior woodwork for the windows. We love the way they look. We also like the lifetime warranty on the windows, labor included. Lindus was also the lowest of the 4 bids we received. All in all, a good experience.

The job went well. I have worked with this company before and while a tiny bit high they do excellent work. When I call them, excellent work is my expectation. However, this time they forgot to let me know when they were coming. They caught me in an unscheduled situation. Of course, minor adjustments were made and the job went on. To the workers... another job well done. To the scheduler...double check.

After having LeafGuard gutters installed by Lindus a few years ago we suffered hail damage in 2017 and went to Lindus not only for the gutter replacement but also for the re-roof. While re-roofing they identified and replaced several panels of plywood roof sheathing which over time had de-laminated. Beautiful job, thorough clean-up. Their price was probably not the lowest, but to us performance and results are more important. Since we went with Leafguard we have not had any problems with leaves, pine needles and "helicopters" which previously filled and clogged our gutters.

the group of men who installed our bay window did a professional job. We are very happy with the install and outcome. Now that it's winter the efficiency of the window is very good. DO NOT PUT MY NAME ON ANY ONLINE COMMENT

I have had three projects done by Lindus. Leafguard gutters several years ago, new windows a couple years ago and new soffits and ridge venting installed this past summer. Their work is stellar and when they start, they finish the job. No disappearing for days after they start.. I appreciate that they have their own employees and not subs. If I need work done i do not look elsewhere. They have proven to me that they are trustable and do what needs to be done. We are lucky to have a company like Lindus.

Very professional, excellent work. They came when they said they would and completed the work as described. We had a small problem with a downspout interfering with a sprinkler head, they came out immediately and remedied the problem.

Awesomely efficient and tidy installation team. They dropped off the product a day before installation and had it placed neatly on my driveway. When they left, you would not have known they were there. No scraps or extras left anywhere. Our salesman Charlie was outstanding. Explained the entire process completely and accurately. Quote was exactly where I expected it to be for the quality of the work.

Had Lindus re shingle our roof this summer following a hail storm and while I don't know much about roofing I do know a lot about customer service and they were excellent. Lindus istalled leaf guard on my new garage in Minnetonka and they leak. They knew that they were not compatible with my steel roofing but took my money anyway. The last time they were here to work on the leaks they broke a window and said they would be back to fix it. That was 4 months ago. All winter with a broken window. Stay away from Lindus and leaf guard gutters

Lindus built a wonderful deck for us. We hired them about 8 months after they gave us an estimate - but they honored the original price. The workers were friendly yet very professional. They took down the old deck, hauled it off, repaired some house damage due to poor installation by the previous builder, took care of all the necessary paperwork with the city, built a beautiful deck , and cleaned up immaculately every day! As I write this, I am watching them re-side the house next to mine and they are being as meticulous with that job as they were with mine!

We had different contactors coming into our home. Each of them, starting with Doug, the receptionist, accounting and of course the contractors were respectable, patient and informative. They gave us excellent service on all steps of the process of isolation and electrical. Good job to ALL!!!!!!

These guys were great to work with. They dropped off the materials one day and were here early the next day for installation. The installation was complete before noon. The gutters look great. There were many roof lines to deal with and they handled all of them without issue. And no cleaning gutters last fall!!!

Despite circumstances out of his control, the crew supervisor stayed calm and organized and made sure the job was done well and properly. They replaced our roof and it looks terrific. We asked that he come back to check on something and it was done without any problem. The minor issue was taken care of quickly. We paid more than other estimates but Lindus arranged the whole job be done, chimney masonry work and the roof, making it so much more convenient.

We had hail damage. Lindus replaced shingles and installed Leaf Guard gutters. We are extemely pleased with all the work. The roof has a 50 year warranty. Work was completed very quickly and professionally.

We were very happy with the work done installing our leaf guard system. It was done very professional and excellent cleanup. It has been very successful keeping water away from the house and not in our basement! We no longer have to worry about leaves clogging our gutters!

We had LeafGuard gutters but Lindus installed on our house this past summer. . From the first contact with the sales representative to the installation, the process went smoothly and professionally. The sales rep answered all of our questions and offered helpful suggestions. The color choices were many and varied. We were able to pick out the exact color that matched our trim. The company was flexible when we had to change our installation date. The day before installation a truck arrived and we watched and asked questions as they created our custom gutters. The following day the crew came to install. They arrived on time and left us with a job well done. We love the looks and functioning of our new LeafGuard gutters.

We asked Lindus to give us an estimate on replacing our skylights. While they were on the roof checking out the skylights, they noticed we had hail damage. Thanks to their thoroughness, we knew to file a claim with our insurance company and they covered the cost of a new roof, skylights and gutters. Lindus was very fast (the roof and windows were done in a day) very clean....we did not find a single nail in our yard...and everyone was so courteous. I would use them again without hesitation!

Our experience was a wonderful, start to finish. Communication was great all through the process. We had on small issue (more with me then them) with installation and they sent someone back over to change to our specifications the very next day. Appreciated the prompt response. The gutters look beautiful!

My husband & I had our gutters and downspouts replaced with leafguard gutters after YEARS of repeatedly cleaning debris from the old standard gutters. I think we tried almost every product suggested from the home improvement stores before I admired these close up. I WAS SOLD and when our opportunity came to finally invest in these I spoke up, "WE'RE GETTING LEAFGUARD GUTTERS!!!" I can't imagine a better look nor a higher quality job! The colors match perfectly with our siding, no seams, perfectly straight lines, such neat work &coordinating with our deck footing. I absolutely love them and everyone heard about it! Lindus replaced two large windows for me. The workmen were knowledgeable and professional. When I discovered flaws in the window panes lindus worked with me to replace the panes without extra charge or fuss. The windows were replaced to improve the energy efficiency and warmth of room. No improvement noted for warmth but the triple pane has improved the leakage and moisture build up.

We were very pleased with the installation of 20 triple pane windows by Lindus Construction. Done in a timely manner. All cleanup finished before they left. The windows are beautiful and are much more energy efficient than our old windows.

A+ service, the gutter is life time warranty, when I need to make an adjustment so I can cut grass easier Lindus showed up next day to get it done...

Each person we encountered (salesperson, scheduler, and installers) was knowledgeable and professional. We had LeafGuard Gutters installed. Although they are spendy, we are happy with the work and hopefully will never need gutters done again.

We had Lindus replace our existing deck with a new cedar deck. Sales and design were handled professionally (listened to what we wanted, an eye for detail and didn't try to sell us something we didn't wan't) Work was started on date stated and completed promptly. Lead carpenter was courteous and respectful of us and our property. He had a great eye for detail and was willing to listen to our concerns and input. Any issues that did arise were dealt with appropreatley. Overall a great project done in a respectful way and ready for use come spring

Lindus replaced windows in our home. Everything about the experience was really good: they were very professional, considerate and on time. They covered the floors that they walked on, and vacuumed their way out of the house. The windows are great. I recommend Lindus highly. And I did recommend them to my neighbor (replacing a deck), who was equally pleased with their project.

I could not be happier with my expereince with the Lindus team. I had Leaf Guard gutters installed and trim boards replaced around my windows so I worked with two teams from Lindus. Clear estimate of the job, seemed to be very good workmanship at installation. thorough clean-up, and purposed telephone follow-up to make sure we were happy with the job. I would not hesitate to use them again. We had these gutters put on to replace older gutters that had no system to prevent leaf accumulation. Installation was November 2016 and with the spring rain that we have had so far, all seems to be working well.

The crew at Lindus Construction was great. From the initial consult/estimate to completion, everyone we came in contact with was a pro. I picked Lindus Construction because their sales pitch was down to earth and not high pressure. The job was done while I was at work. When I got home it looked great. My yard was spotless. No remnants from doing the job. A few months later I ran into an issue with a down spout going over a sidewalk that interfered with my snow blower. One call and they came out a few days later and put a hinge on for me at no charge. Great company to work with!

We had Leaf Guard gutters and downspouts installed. Excellent job! Our next project was our 3-season porch had rotten rim joists so they installed several jack points to raise the porch and installed new rim joists plus new patio doors. This job was done by a very knowledgeable workman and in a timely manner. We liked that they gave us suggestions on color that we had not considered. Crews worked above and beyond what was expected!

Everyone was professional and Andy took his time explaining the details including when materials would be dropped off, project start time and also arranged for a company to come out and run the underground drain system with pop up vent. Project was so much easier with Andy coordinating all the details.

The whole team did just an outstanding job on our new home. Andy explained everything in great detail, answered all our questions. And everything went exactly as he said it would. The install team was efficient and also very, very neat. We have a custom house with some unusual roof lines - and they explained to us how those lines were handled and what to look for if we had any issues (which we have not). I really don't respond to these sort of things but I have made an exception in this case due to the excellent work by all from Lindus Construction. We recently had our home fitted with the Leaf Guard gutter system. Lindus Construction representative Mitch was great, going out of his way to accommodate our schedule, needs, and questions. The crew came out removed the old system and installed the new all in one day, left no mess , and the completed job looks and works great. Dealing with the staff at the main office was a breeze easy to talk with and wrap things up. Great job and totally happy with Lindus Construction and would recommend them for future projects.

We had a relatively small job for Lindus but they treated me as if it was a major project. Prompt in coming to make a quote and they stuck to a projected timeline for installation. After installation we found that the wrong garage service door had been installed. We called the project manager and it was quickly replaced with the correct door. Installers made attention to detail and cleaned up nicely upon completion. I would use this company again.

I've been doing upkeep on my home, and have had a lot of difficulty making contact with contractors, hiring them, and getting the jobs done. That said, I had a very good experience with Lindus Construction. I inquired, and met with a salesperson in my home within a few days. I told him exactly what I wanted done and was not pressured to do more. He gave me an estimate of about a month before the project would be completed. It ended up being scheduled and completed within two weeks of our meeting. The installer was extremely skilled and the quality of his work is obvious. He was friendly, approachable and took time to answer all my questions. All in all a very good experience-and the new gutters look great!

The new gutters look soon much better than my old gutters, and they don't get all clogged up with gunk! I love my new gutters. Maybe more than is psychologically healthy, but I'm okay with that. Everyone who I was in contact with during this project was friendly & professional. So refreshing!

Recently had them install LeafGuard Gutter on our attached garage. Previously used them for original and hail damage replacement of LeafGuard on sides and back of house, but now needed to add the garage due to water damage occuring on asphault driveway. They were prompt in coming for free estimate, but had to wait a few weeks because they were backed up due to heavy demand following the State Fair and people who had signed up. They came when the said they would. Completed the job, inspected our old gutters and did a very nice job. I don't think they are the cheapest gutter system out there, but we have never had clog in our heavily treed site. We have several limbs that extend over the roof, and see leaves on the roof but not in the gutters.

Removed existing gutters and downspouts and installed Leafguard system. Materials were delivered a few days ahead of scheduled installation date. Crew showed up on schedule and completed the job in one day. Removal, installation, and cleanup! Crew was very polite and professional. Cleanup was amazing. Not a trace left behind.

Installation of gutters on garage and replacement of previously installed extensions with hinged extensions. Good job but had to have relative trim extensions because with the hinged pieces, all extended over the pathway and were a tripping hazard. Felt installers should have seen the problem and addressed it. Had to wait 5 weeks before original work could be done - not willing to wait to have them come back to do the trimming.

We has Lindus install windows and doors at our house. The finished the job and I went back to review the work. I found several sizable holes by the windows that would allow a lot of water into the house and ruin the new window and wood. I also have found the drip caps installed our short, which allow water to get under the drip cap and ruin the wood.

We had Lindus Construction install gutters and downspouts on our new addition this past April. The installers were very professional and did a great job. We are so happy as we have not had to clean the gutters since they were installed. With our previous gutters we had to clean them after most rainfalls as they would jam up with pine needles.
