I hired LLDS for remodeling my apartment. It was a gut renovation. Very successful. The contractor remarked that he got drawings very quickly which made the job go quicker. Leyden did a very good job and I could only recommend him for design or renovation. I was overseas during the job and LLDS handled everything.

collaborating with Leyden Lewis on both my WSP home and Germantown Studio barn has been invaluable! His exquisite knowledge of design has offered me a serene place to both live, entertain (from 8 for dinner to 60 party.) and to relax whether solo, with friends or with a partner. His design is about details, simplicity, elegance, and keen respect and knowledge of art, mixing the contemporary with the classic. He is my first go to when thinking of acquiring an Objet d'art vintage furniture, or essentials from Room and Board. whether I am on a budget or feeling extravagant he know how to pick the diamond in the rough.

I have worked with Leyden on several project and we are still working on many more. He is a great designer. Not only is he innovative and an out-of-the-box thinker, he does so in a quick and timely manner. Leyden is an old friend whose work I've always admired. When we had to do a gut renovation after a fire, we asked him to help. There were so many things to think about, so many little (and big!) details. It was a very stressful time. Leyden stepped right in and helped make sense of everything. He liaised with the contractors and subcontractors; made renderings on the spot when things were unclear. Leyden made suggestions based on our needs, style and budget. He designed special details that to this day make me smile. I always knew he was a talented designer, but once I experienced his keen eye and sensibility, attention to detail, quality control, overall knowledge, and professionalism first hand, I knew it was the best decision we ever made.

My husband and I can not recommend LLDS more highly. It was a pleasure working with him on the transformation of our 1901 town home. Leyden is highly creative, professional, courteous and extremely responsive to our requests. He has the ability to incorporate high end art, innovative design and elegant functional architectural language into our unique project. He welcomed all of our input and managed to our concerns.
