We have had the professional pleasure of working with Leo and his amazing team of talent on two recent projects and both have been enhanced by his team's expertise in design. In one case the client wanted to do a complete update to a home we completed nearly 15 years ago and the other project is new construction; large, luxurious and unique. Leo and his team have shown themselves to be expert in designing for each client's individual desires while maintaining the integrity of the architectural style. They work tirelessly to respond to questions quickly and they show great respect for each professional on the team. We are pleased to be working with them and look forward to future projects together.

We hired Leo to help us with our renovation of our Boston Condo. He went through our entire condo and came up with lots of ideas and changes to help accommodate our current lifestyle. He got to work right away, presenting us with many options for tile, cabinetry, wall coverings, furniture, paint colors, etc. He was able to create a warm and inviting contemporary space, while maintaining some of our condo's original Boston charm and character. This is exactly what we wanted when we first spoke with Leo, and we could not be happier with the results. We love coming home to our new house everyday! There is nothing more surreal than living in your dream home! With our project, we were intimidated by re-model horror stories about contractors, cost overruns, poor quality of work, and haggling over mistakes. Thanks to Leo and his experience, vendor recommendations and references, our experience could not have been more stress free. Our project included a complete demolition and re-surfacing of every wall, ceiling and floor in our home. The process of arriving at our design plans was fun and easy and Leo quickly picked up on us, our likes and dislikes, the “vibe” we wanted our dream home to have. Leo helped us bring our ideas together, forming the perfect combination of materials in every room. He also worked very closely with the builder to make sure that everything was executed to plan and with an eye on quality and detail. I’m relieved to say that aside from a few changes we made along the way, we didn't encounter a single cost overrun that was not our decision. There were no surprises and no bulls..t. We also opted to move out to cut our project time down from 6 to less than 4 months total. Finally, after suffering in a small apartment it was amazing to move back into our brand new home. Following the completion of our remodel, we wanted to try decorating on our own. Unfortunately, that wasn't as easy as we had imagined. After struggling with it for a few months and realizing that things were not coming together the way we envisioned, we asked Leo if he would take on the project of decorating our home as well. We were able to simply describe to him that we wanted: a California, modern contemporary look, backed up by a half dozen pages torn from magazines. He had the entire house pulled together in less than two weeks. We had one initial concept review and then one meeting to review and approve his selections - and it was done. After being presented with his concepts for each room I don’t think we changed one thing that he recommended. Leo ordered all the furniture, fabric and accessories, including custom made pieces to stay within our budget. He then delivered and installed everything in a matter of weeks. Aside from Leo’s amazing talent, we trust him with our home and would never think twice about giving him full access to our home while we are away… Thanks again for the dream home Leo.

I worked with the Leo Parrella Design Group for interior design on two distinct projects - our contemporary loft space in Boston, and a seaside cottage in Maine. Leo provided guidance on color, furniture, and accessories. In both instances, he was both professional and personable. All of his recommendations integrated his aesthetic point of view, the setting (urban and ocean), as well as an attunement to our style and needs. Leo's collaborative approach was an educational experience for me, in terms of seeing color, pattern, shape and texture. The outcome was a refined version of "home", places that exude feeling, beauty and comfort. On a practical note, all work was accomplished with efficiency, within budget and on deadline. The hard part was when the projects concluded, as the process had been so enjoyable.

LPDG has great ideas and style, while being adaptive and entirely focused on ensuring that their clients love their homes, and we do! We had the most wonderful experience working with Leo and team. While we had a strong, general vision for our home, we also had a new baby (our third) when starting our major remodel, and needed help with all the details and decisions that make a house a home. Leo and Shannon's design and building knowledge is deep and detailed. They helped us every step of the way, from full scale bathroom design with custom cabinetry, lighting and furniture plans, millwork details, to answering the smallest but ever important little design-making questions in the middle of the night. Leo and Shannon were always impressively creative, thoughtful, and on budget. We were always given a range of options to choose from for each decision. They listened to who we are, how we live and helped us design a home that is functional, beautiful and a true reflection of our family. Leo is not only outstandingly talented and passionate about his work, but also incredibly honest and transparent in every aspect of the process. He has a great deal of integrity and we feel so lucky to have worked with him and his team.

I first hired LPDG for my home in Boston. I could not have been more pleased with Leo's design and management of the budget. After having such a great experience he was hired again to do my second home on Cape Cod. Both turned out beautiful. I eventually sold the house on the Cape. The new buyer fell in love with everything and bought it turnkey for over asking!

We recently completed a major indoor & outdoor home design project with Leo Parrella Design Group, and we could not be more thrilled with the results. Leo is not only incredibly talented, he and his assistant Shannon are very kind and wonderful people to work with. He quickly built a rapport with my husband and I, and he had the command and respect of the entire construction team and all the other outside crews and vendors that it took to complete our vast design project. When small issues arose, he quickly took care of any situation or hiccup. He delivered design solutions (i.e.; furniture, wall & window treatments, custom lighting, stone fire pit, etc.) that were beautiful & unique and exceeded our expectations. He was professional, organized, and cognizant of our vision, needs, and our budget. He was very astute on where to spend more dollars and where to spend less. We would strongly recommend his firm to anyone looking for something unique that is superior in quality and very personal.

I was reticent to hire a designer for my remodel as my experiences in the past were mixed and I was convinced I had the skill set and experience to do the work on my own. Shortly after I hired Leo I knew I have never been more wrong. From the initial consultation and proposal through the completion of the project, I was completely satisfied with the quality of his work, his creativity and design aesthetic and the professionalism of his staff. Leo helped me to navigate some challenging issues with the project manager which enabled me to have a positive outcome under some stressful circumstances. The end result was a beautiful transformation of three rooms which were completed on time and within my budget. I am thrilled with the results, grateful for Leo's help and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a talented designer.
