With offices located in Austin, Texas and Hong Kong, China, Leigh Chiu™ founded and operates a highly-acclaimed, client-centric design firm with residential and commercial projects across four continents. With more than a quarter century of increasingly responsible experience as an interior decorator and designer spanning New York and Hong Kong and many places in between, she has become a trusted advisor and procurement specialist to discerning families in home decor and comfort, as well as sophisticated corporations in functionality, elegance and eco-friendly.
A 1986 graduate of the University of Alabama, Leigh began her career at Liz Claiborne, Inc. in fashion merchandising, where she spent six years before switching career paths to study interior design full-time at Parsons School of Design. In 1994, Leigh joined Cullman & Kravis in New York City, where she gained tremendous, hands-on experience working with clients throughout Manhattan, as well as Westchester County NY, Greenwich Connecticut and the Hamptons on Long Island. In 1998, Leigh relocated to Hong Kong, China with her banker husband and raised her family. In 2003, she founded Leigh Chiu Designs, Ltd, to formalize the execution of multiple design projects that she undertook, and to fill a niche for luxurious (and highly functional) residential and commercial installations commissioned by busy Hong Kong-based local & expatriate families and executives regionally.
