I’m not sure how Laurysen has such a high review! We have a brand new house with a Laurysen kitchen. I absolutely hate my kitchen. My husband and I have been building and selling houses for ten years and we have had the pleasure of using multiple ottawa kitchen companies. Laurysen is by far the worst. Our island is in unacceptable condition. We did a dark grey island and upgraded the size. The kick plates are streaky, they are fraying at the edges. The drawers all have chips and the island has been touched up with the wrong coloured paint. Multiple technicians have viewed the island and said yes, it’s bad, we will order parts. Nothing has been ordered and Laurysen doesn’t care. I have sent multiple emails for follow up, every time they say our issues will be addressed, yet no one ever addresses them and nothing is fixed. It’s been six months. I’m embarrassed to show people our custom kitchen that we paid a substantial amount of money for. Do yourself a favour and upgrade your kitchen elsewhere. The staff are pleasant to deal with, it’s not their fault. Laurysen clearly has bitten off more than they can chew and their work is most definitely a result of this!

The staff at Laurysen were great in helping us create our vision and see it through designing our beautiful kitchen. the show room has so many options to choose from and allowed us to see some great ideas. The support after the fact for some after thoughts and touch up has also been excellent with all things COVID their staff has been very respectful of our health and safety when entering and working within our home.

ABOVE AND BEYOND EXCELLENT follow up and service Beautiful kitchen...Outstanding service!!!! Upon move in, we were very happy and impressed with the quality and workmanship of the Laurysen Kitchen installed in our new home. When it mattered most, we were equally impressed with the service and outstanding service. Through the build of our home in general and through the Builder's deficiencies handling process, some damages and minor issues came up. Many, many thanks to the staff at Laurysen! When I brought our issues to them, they immediately stepped in and stepped up. They went above and beyond expectations to remedy all issues and leave us with a high quality, beautiful kitchen to enjoy. It should also be noted that they did this in timely fashion and with great lines of communication and coordination during this trying time where we are all dealing with obstacles presented by Covid-19. Thanks once again to the team at Laurysen Kitchens. Amazing work!!!

We went to Laurysen Kitchens for some help with a small kitchen project. Their staff -- from the reception to Mike in the shop -- went above & beyond what we could have ever expected! Their help made our project about a million times easier. Would highly recommend!

Very interesting reading the comment by Walter Walsh. We had an experience totally the opposite. Our 14 year old Laureysan designed and installed kitchen had flaws in the doors the first year. Many doors were removed over the years, repaired and reinstalled. Some doors were done repeatedly to the point they no longer matched. This year we decided to tackle it again. NO satisfaction. NO acknowledgement that this had been an ongoing problem. NO deal to repair even at a reasonable price. We eventually hired Axcell Cabinet Repair and Painting. Finally a beautiful kitchen at a reasonable price. Laurysen is not be a company I would recommend.

Laurysen designed and installed our kitchen 17 years ago. Recently they touched up a few doors as a courtesy. Our kitchen looks as beautiful as when it was installed. We highly recommend Laurysen Kitchens for their superior craftsmanship and service. Thank you.

Your Space Our Design

Fabulous products and service! As a business owner in the cabinet design and supply industry, I have been dealing with Laurysen recently and I can't even express how happy I am with their level of professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile to get a job completed. They have a lovely selection of wood and painted finishes and are super diverse in price points, depending on the clients' budget. To say that I highly recommend them is an understatement. I can't wait to do more projects with them. They work together to get the job done. Go team!

Horrible experience and would not recommend. Closing was January 3rd (2 weeks ago) and our kitchen and laundry cabinets are still incomplete. I have had to try and contact them numerous times with lack of response and they further fail to provide an estimated time frame of when it will be completed. They should have accounted for the time and worked with the builder to deliver this project to the customer on time.

I approached Laurysen Kitchens with what must be a very small job for them, but having these cabinets added to my kitchen was very important to my enjoyment of a new home. The small scale of my order was no issue! I was given full, top notch service by a great team who took the time to understand what I needed and get it to me in the most efficient way possible. Now that the cabinets are installed, I am also super impressed by the quality workmanship of both the materials and the install! My next cabinet project will definitely be with Laurysen Kitchens!

We contacted Laurysen months before the closing date on the purchase of our new home. They came to our home, measured, and recommended different alternatives and ideas, and had everything ready to be installed on time for when we took possession. The whole Laurysen team was extremely considerate of the other trades onsite and made sure that they coordinated with the entire renovation project. Also, they respected my most important concern – Budget. There was never any pressure to buy, upgrade, or take features that did not align with how much money I was willing to part with. Overall I am very happy with my Laurysen kitchen, and would recommend them to anyone looking to renovate
