Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area custom floor installation and design with linoleum, vinyl, rubber and cork. We specialize in intricate patterns and hand-cut one-of-a-kind artistic inlays. To create the perfect floor or linoleum rug, our flooring designs are developed collaboratively with the interior designer and client. Our custom inlays can be either installed by us as part of a flooring installation or shipped to qualified installers worldwide. These beautiful floors are durable and long lasting; resilient floors are ideal for all areas, especially high-traffic kitchen floors. Our extensive expertise in architecture and design make our linoleum floors at home in any décor: Contemporary, Spanish Revival, Modern, Victorian, Retro, Mid-Century, Craftsman, California Bungalow, Art Deco, Art Moderne, Streamline Moderne, etc... I found Laurie on Houzz. She and I connected via email and worked long distance on our remodel in Chautauqua, New York. We started with one small powder room. I visited her in LA and when I saw the work, I had to have more! We worked on the creative design for two more bathrooms. Working with Laurie was an amazingly creative, collaborative, and fun experience. Laurie is so creative but also incredibly disciplined. Our floors arrived with very specific instructions and even though our installers were afraid of the project, Laurie talked them through every detail and they did an amazing job.- all accomplished long distance.

While preparing to move into a new/old home, we decided we wanted linoleum in the kitchen, but with a twist! That's where Crogan Inlay Floors came into our lives. My husband came across Laurie Crogan's book and we fell in love with her designs, and after our meeting, with her as well. Laurie Crogan is a true artist and consummate professional. She just floored me (no pun intended) at how hard she works, and her attention to detail and knowledge of her craft, among other things. We are thrilled with our kitchen floor. Upkeep is easy even after dogs and workers in and out while we finish up the kitchen, we have no problems. Super comfortable on the feet, and truly the highlight of our new home. Crogan Inlay Floors deserves five stars, as Laurie Crogan is the brightest star in flooring!

During our remodel this summer, I was searching online for unique, fabulous rugs for our new ceramic-tiled floors. I discovered Crogan Inlay Floors and was ecstatic! Here were patterned rugs in Linoleum---every size, design, and color that you could imagine! AND... best of all... I told Laurie Crogan what I was after, as well as my color scheme (I happen to be into anything with 3D/optical illusion at the moment) and she absolutely surpassed my expectations--- these are literally works of art! She sent color samples, emailed photos of different designs, and called me to confirm the details of my rugs (yes, I loved the first one so much that I ordered a second!) My experience with Crogan Inlay Floors was truly a bright spot in an otherwise stress-producing home renovation; Laurie is such a pleasure to work with that you almost feel as if you have a new best friend after just talking with her on the phone. Now if I can just figure out where to put another one....

Oh, our Laurie Crogan floors! Like treasures underfoot, they made us smile every single day. I wanted something to honor the history of our 1933 Dutch Colonial home (patterned linoleum being very popular back then) and reflect our quirky personalities. Laurie was a joy to work with from the first moment. She's got a special blend of intelligence, creativity, wit, skill, professionalism and Heart. After meeting with me and my husband, she came back with a variety of sketches and ideas, all of which we loved. The hard part was deciding among them! She brought whimsy to our kitchen, tackled a very intricate water scene for the bathroom and created something elegant and charming for a tiny powder room. If we'd had more floors available, we'd have asked her to do those too! When we sold that house, we seriously considered whether there was a way of taking those floors with us. Now, if I can just get hubby to agree to replace some of the tile floors in our current place, we'll have another Crogan masterpiece to live with :)

Every time I see the floors in the morning I dance with joy because I love it so much. It makes me very happy to know how much work and sweat it took her to make everything perfect. My custom-ordered 4-foot round linoleum rug in Red #3127 and Barbados cream exceeded my expectations. Unrolled, flattened to the floor it's eye-catching, magnificent in craftsmanship, and just-right in fit. It's used as a mobile office matt, giving me a smile as I look down or feel a little down, or ideas to use it outside as a launching pad for my toy helicopter on the deck or relocate this focus-pulling awesomeness somewhere else. Linoleum was not in my mind as I shopped online, but the beautiful samples posted on inlayfloors.com was head-turning. How could I not resist? Laurie gave outstanding and responsive communication for details on ring colors, order, and sizes and for updates on its crafting, packaging, and delivery. Also, she educated me on its care. I will follow because this mobile office matt will rack up miles.

Working with Laurie Crogan was nothing short of amazing! Laurie is undoubtedly an experienced artist, a qualified historian and a true professional. She worked with us from the beginning to choose colors, materials and designs that fit our style, needs and the feel of our home. She was patient, kind, fun and full of ideas - we loved having her in our home. The end product is a beautiful, authentic looking 1930's inlaid linoleum floor that is absolutely stunning. We cannot recommend her highly enough!!

I contacted inlay floors to create a linoleum rug for my loft studio in Toronto. My wood floor was getting distressed and needed protection. It works perfectly transitioning from the entrance to the main room. Beautifully designed and masterfully executed. I would recommend one of their linoleum rugs to anyone.

The photos enclosed are of a ceiling that appears to be plaster but is painted. Very fine work. 18 panels each 2'X8' 1920's Paul Williams for Lon Cheney in Beverly Hills. I did the kitchen floor.

I went to a tile store with a friend to find a simple pattern for my kitchen floor. I came upon a book a book of the most beautiful designs I had ever seen. My friend said "We've got to find this woman and hire her to do your floor!" So I got in touch with her and we had a wonderful talk on about our philosophical views on art. She came back after questioning me about my likes and dislikes and presented me with the coolest floor designs I had ever seen. Somehow she had come up with the combination of martini drinking,Shag like tableau's, and my art gallery hopping RED CUP CLUB. Our collaboration turned into a great friendship.By the way the photo is of my favorite 45 record label "Roulette Records".

I expected professionalism, but I didn't expect such an excellent blend of great art and perfect service. Laurie made us an area rug for our entryway. It all started at our dining room table where we sat down to discuss the project. Her questions brought our preferences to the surface. She showed us colors, textures, mixing and matching. Then she went home and created digital designs with a variety of shapes and colors, all within the family of preferences we'd discussed. It was so easy to choose exactly what we wanted. She created it and we love it. It MAKES the room. Her work is completely unique, a true floor heirloom.
