Landscape architect, interior plantscaper and fiber artist. Traditional techniques, such as macramé and weaving, added authentic and unique aspect to my bohemian and contemporary style. Unlike knit or woven textiles, macramé is fabricated by knotting cords into intricate patterns with a great attention to detail, resulting in timeless and imperfectly beautiful designs and a lovingly handmade aesthetic. These breathtaking tapestries offer a creative alternative to typical wall décor, and bring a modern touch of personality to any room, bringing with them texture, natural fibres and a handmade aesthetic that somehow makes your space feel more like a home. I started macrame as a self taught fiber artist, and now I am a recognized artist holding a national Certificate for the art and traditional crafts. As cliche as it sounds, my greatest inspiration is nature, and all macrame and woven wall hangings are created using natural materials like natural cotton cords, wool, jute and other natural fibers. Each new knot I learnt help me to discover the beautiful land of macrame art. I was happy to connect my two passions: interior design and plantscaping, and macramé.
