As a returning customer I was very much looking forward to working with Krys again, and she did not disappoint! This project was to renovate a kitchen and I could not be more pleased with the result. She completely maximised the space with a considered, bespoke kitchen design and came up with a gorgeous selection of materials to make it come to life - accounting perfectly for both the brief which she totally understood and my budget. I used builders recommended by Krys who were brilliant, and her organising/liaising with them made the whole process very smooth for me. I would not hesitate to recommend Krys, and to work with her again on future projects. She is so thoughtful, with an exceptional eye for detail, and this was, as for the first project, a pleasure and a success!

She was fabulous from beginning to end, pointing out issues we had not considered, adapting suggestions to suit our tastes, making the plan really clear and straightforward, and liaising so well with the team. I worked with Krystyna on a project where we went back to brick on a Victorian property and rebuilt it from the ground up. Krys was a core team member in the house build and redesign, from start to finish. We have worked with Krys on two sizeable projects now renovating our house in South East London. Throughout both Krys has been extremely professional, efficient, innovative and - what I really appreciate - honest, giving us her views on things we may have not been able to foresee, whether to do with the actual design (for example, pointing to the unused spaces, coming up with alternative solutions to increase storage, finding ways to get the house a much bigger feel, etc), or with things to look out for in the building process (as people who have never renovated their space before her tips were extremely handy and we saved ourselves hours of headache, being able to resolve any questions on the ground). She helped us develop an eye for detail, explained how to combine the different styles that would work with our space, and more, meaning that apart from giving us a beautiful house on the day of renovation being complete, we were able to continue filling it with lovely art and decorations as we go along. We would not do another renovation without Krys, she's truly exceptional and we trust her more than we trust ourselves.

A VERY happy returning customer of Krys at K Space Interiors here. We have completed the first part of renovation last year, making big changes to living rooms, dining space and a big family bathroom. Working with Krys was fantastic as she listened and came up with solutions we would have never thought of ourselves, so no wonder we got the renovation bug to continue the works this year - this time finishing the rest of the house, redoing all the bedrooms and the remaining bathroom. Krys helped us with design - which was not only STUNNING (trust me - I posted a picture of our new bathroom on Instagram and 4 or 5 of my friends reached out to Krys to book her services) but also extremely functional. Bathroom was a small, awkward en-suite with limited space for anything - somehow Krys managed to maximise the space in a way that really opened up the bathroom which now looks big and has much more functional storage space. She also helped us find good suppliers and builders, which can be a huge challenge. Last time round we used our own sourced builders and ended up regretting it - this time following recommendations from Krys the building work was smooth and timely. Similar story with bedrooms - we regained a lot of space, made small tweaks that really made the space what it is that we'd have never thought of ourselves, all while staying relatively budget-friendly - Krys acted as a voice of sense when it came to decisions (ie. we were looking at different flooring options, and she was very helpful in suggesting we go for one of the cheaper ones as we were trying to stick to our budgets, explaining why it makes sense and expensive option won't make much of a difference; at the same time suggesting us where to spend more to really give us an elevated look/feel of the place). Some ideas, such as repurposing old marble tiles to elevate the look of the bedside cabinets, were completely free to us and yet made a huge difference. Not sure what we are going to do now as our house renovation is now fully complete. Buy a different house so that we can work with Krys again? THANK YOU KRYS!

I highly recommend Krys! She gave us a consultation, which includes her spending time looking at all rooms in our house and suggesting ideas - all of which we loved! We have worked with Krys now on our bathroom and our kitchen and dining area renovations. Krys has at all times been a wonderful professional to work with. It has truly felt like a collaboration. Krys was able to bring her wealth of experience and knowledge to help us create some truly beautiful spaces that we will enjoy for many years to come. She was able to work with us to bring our ideas to life and help us clarify how we wanted our spaces to be. Originally we were looking at doing the design work ourselves, but Krys was able to work with us to design spaces that give us improved function and flow to the rooms. When working with Krys she has recommended contractors who were easy to work with and kept to the time scales they said they would. A couple of minor problems came up in the install process and these were dealt with quickly and with no fuss. The work was finished to a high standard and the results speak for themselves. We will be using Krys again for our next project with is our garden studio/office, and look forward to working with her on that.

Krys helped with a high value complete house refurb of a 3700 sq ft house in Dulwich. She was very engaged throughout the process, with good ideas and responsiveness to feedback. She also saw the project through to its conclusion, helping us not only find a lead contractor but ensure that the work was completed to a high standard.

This woman is a one-of-a-kind! She is incredibly talented, skilled, kind, smart, creative, and honest. Krys consulted us pre-renovation to discuss some of our plans and give us advice on speaking with the architect and builders in terms of what we wanted to achieve. She also gave us valuable advice, not just for the building work and project management of it but for of course the interior design choices and options, making me feel a lot more comfortable with making some decisions ourselves as well. On top of that she was extremely kind and it was an absolute pleasure Chatting to her in our home. One hiring professional help for your renovation, you may think that you will end up spending a lot more money, but in hindsight, Krys will actually save you money and so her consultation is an excellent way to elevate your home. Her consulting services are just as valuable as her for interior design services, and I highly recommend her if you are looking for some advice and guidance.

I would not hesitate to recommend Krys to anyone who wants help with an interior design project. She is incredibly talented and has a real eye for detail. We hired Krys to help us with the full renovation of our end of terrace Edwardian property and we absolutely could not have done it without her. I was nervous at first about hiring an interior designer as I thought that it might be a luxury we could do without but I could not have been more wrong! Krys really understands what can be achieved with period properties and challenged us to be bold and take risks where we would have played it safe. The result is a beautiful home which is comfortable, stylish, and functional for our family. I have no doubt that Krys saved us money by suggesting ideas that helped to avoid costly mistakes. For example, she identified that the proposed proportions of our ensuite loft bathroom were too small and designed a much better solution which resulted in a larger more practical space. Her design ideas and vision for our house also helped us to get it right first time. Krys designed our two bathrooms and WC, including development of the layout, overall style, colour scheme, and fixtures and fittings. She worked collaboratively with us and showed us samples of the proposed materials so that we could see what the room would look like in advance. She then developed detailed drawings that she talked through with our builder and visited the property during the work to help ensure a quality finish. Krys helped us to select a number of items for the house including radiators, switches and sockets, doors, handles, trims, floor tiles, carpets and lighting. Researching all of these items would have taken us hours and she introduced us to products and finishes that have helped to make our home beautiful and more stylish and unique than if we had done it all ourselves. Krys helped us with the colour scheme for our house and as we progressed through the project, we realised that we could not do without Krys and so asked for her help with our kitchen design as well as soft furnishings. This was really beneficial as it helped continue the design cohesion across our house, which has added an additional ‘wow factor’ and has helped to elevate the whole renovation. We have really loved working with Krys and miss her no nonsense advice and approach to life! She has a really fun sense of humour, is responsive, and open and positive with her feedback and challenge. She explains her thoughts in a really clear and considered way which is so appreciated when in the middle of a busy project with a large number of decisions to make. So in summary, if you’re after an interior designer, we couldn’t recommend Krys strongly enough. We also suggest that if you’re planning a full renovation or extension to your property that you hire Krys early on in the process to help ensure your plans incorporate her great ideas and design from the start.

I worked with Krys to renovate my (small and very challenging) bathroom and she did an amazing job! From start to finish she was incredibly helpful and informative, and she made me feel relaxed about a process I have no experience of myself. She was spot on at fulfilling the brief, and I really love the final outcome - its beyond what I imagined it could look like before we started the project. I would highly recommend Krys and will definitely be looking to work with her again.

I've always enjoyed interiors, and decorated my previous flat myself. Moving to a new house, which was a total restoration project, had me stumped though. There were just SO many decisions to make and things to think about, that I felt totally out of my depth. Working with Krystyna was a revelation - she really understood what I was trying to do, and made it happen. From making the best use of limited space to sourcing things that I thought were going to be impossible to find. The bathroom she designed for me is without a doubt the best room in the house. Both the styling of it, and the practicalities of it. "Pure luxury" is one of the compliments I've had about it. Thank you Krystyna - couldn't have done it without you. Anything I'd do differently? As I'm based outside of London, we did everything virtually. I think in the future I'd definitely invest in site visits - I'm not sure anything really replaces that feeling of actually being in a space.

I have previously worked with Krystyna on a large renovation of my parent's Victorian house. The included a full refurbishment as well as a loft and ground extension and was very successful. My partner and I are both busy professionals and still quite time-poor, so it was a no-brainer to use Krystyna again. The 2nd project involved a full refurbishment of a 2-bed maisonette over two floors. We were also undecided whether to rent the property or live in it. This is where Krystyna’s wide experience, deep knowledge, and skills really came into play. She was able to make suggestions around design and colours that would appeal to us and to young professional renters. Furthermore, her trade discounts with suppliers meant that we managed to recoup most of her design fees again. As we’ve worked with Krystyna before we were more open to less safe choices and made bolder decisions. We ended up with a beautifully transformed property with great features and colours. We got to spend a few enjoyable months in the property before deciding to rent it out. It was snapped up immediately by a young professional couple, who love the space! I would thoroughly recommend Krystyna to anyone taking on House/Flat refurbishments or Large/Medium projects like ours.

We had already worked with Krys on several projects around our house, so were confident that she could deliver fantastic results on our new loft. As always, Krys's designs fit in our with personal tastes but she also suggested new ideas that we would not have considered without her. Our bedroom is a cozy, stylish sanctuary, our bathroom is elegant and spa-like, and both have received many compliments. Krys is easy and friendly to work with and we would not hesitate to recommend her.

We found Krys at Studio K Space through booking a 3 hour consultation with her, but after the first 10 minutes of our chat it was pretty clear we were coming back to her to help us redesign the house. Krys is passionate about what she does, has great attention to detail and amazing ideas that we'd not think about. We loved her ways of combining modern shapes with unique features of the house - it never felt like a "copy and paste" modern design which I always fear in the era of Pinterest - instead Krys put a lot of effort to highlight the unique style that the 1930 house has, and make it play in a completely different light. Our house went from an average and boring looking one to being like a beautiful showroom home, which despite the showroom-like looks is extremely well thought-through and functional. Krys's passion for creating a HOME for you to live in shows throughout the whole works: be it through finding new solutions for storage, playing with lights to make the whole place seem 1000x more cosy, or through walking around/testing out with you the "comfortable" locations for light switches, sockets, etc. The level of personalisation was insane and she really listened, understood and delivered on every single thing that would make this not just a pretty house, but a lovely HOME :) One thing I always worried about when it came to using a designer was that they would check what you like, look at your Pinterest board, and go ahead with exactly that. As I work full time in a non-creative industry and have barely any time to research the interiors, I really wanted for someone to "open my eyes" to things I wouldn't have come up with. With Krys, it was exactly that: without ever being overpowering (she always listens to you/understands your needs!), she would highlight areas we didn't think about, and challenge some of the "given" items. I.e. we had an old school built in cupboards that were extremely functional we thought we'd want to keep: she shown us different ways of using the space (changing fronts/removing half/removing all and swapping with beautiful vintage furniture). While we didn't think of this initially, we could not be happier with the result which is both beautiful and very practical. Krys is a pleasure to work with, is attentive, polite, super knowledgable and easy to get along with. Krys also helped us in save money on the renovation as she found cost-cautious alternatives for some of the items - be it finding a better/less expensive radiator from a brand we have never hard about, or putting us in touch with trade people who could do a job well & reasonably priced. I always thought having a designer is a luxury - i.e. if you are working on a budget, this is an expense you cut. I could not be further from the reality: the decisions Krys helped us make saved us a lot more money in the long run AND we got a stunning house we'd never manage ourselves. Super happy and never want to leave our beautiful house as a result.

Krys listened to our needs and came up with brilliant design plans for our small bathroom. She's transformed a dark, dingy, cramped bathroom into a light, stylish, beautifully designed room, that somehow feels much larger despite being the same size. Krys was also lovely to work with... friendly and humorous and great at explaining her recommendations and thinking. Highly recommend!

I came across Krys's work on Instagram and it was love at first sight! I then read all about her, and her work, and her projects, her clients... But my first thought was: this will never work as she is down in London and we live north of Manchester! But I decided to email her anyway and to my surprise nothing was too much of a deal for Krys! She was LOVELY from my first email. She very promptly replied to all my queries and was very clear on how/what she could offer. We were going through a big family bathroom extension and an en-suit refurbishment. I never thought bathrooms could be such a nightmare to plan until Krys came into our lives. I have to say, I prefer things in writing so I would sit and write very detailed long emails to Krys (most days, two emails a day :-)) and not one single reply to an email of mine took longer than 48hrs to come back. I just loved Krys's commitment to her clients. Krys designed both bathrooms layout for us and helped us decide on everything from tiles to trims and grout! Every single detail you can imagine. We really needed to optimize our space and Krys suggested amazing ideas that not in a million years we would have thought about without her amazing knowledge. Our first contact with Krys was in August/2021 and our building work starts in January/2022 so don't be afraid to have a full plan a few months before the actual work starts. Krystyna did an amazing job helping us get through the last stages of our renovation project when we had run out of ideas and energy. She was very flexible in how she worked and was happy to take on a relatively small, remote project. Krystyna helped us to put our many ideas for paint colours and wallpapers into a coherent decorating schedule that all flows nicely through the house. She saved us from a few expensive mistakes by steering us towards some more timeless colour and wallpaper choices, and more suitable paint choices for the light levels of the rooms in question. Krystyna was an absolute pleasure to work with, the best mix of friendly and professional.

Krys has transformed our hallways, living room, and now loft extension (one large bedroom and bathroom). From the overall style to the little details, I have been happy with all of her work and Krys has really helped push me beyond my comfort zone, in a good way! Krystyna was our best bathroom decision! I do not know where we would have been without her. She has been amazing to work with and notably for her brilliant balance of creative designs and practical building knowledge - one of the key reasons we chose K Space. I approached Krystyna in regards to two projects for our house. The first being a bathroom renovation, which included combining the separate toilet and bathroom into one large family bathroom. The second project was to convert our detached garage into a games room/man cave. Krystyna got the balance just right of understanding our style and tastes but also pushing us out of our comfort zone on occasion. We have ended up with two spaces we absolutely love and would never have been able to achieve these results without her help. It feels like we have had Krystyna in our lives for a while now, we timed our renovations poorly (starting just before lockdown) so it's been quite a journey. Krystyna has a delightful personality and is a fun friendly character to work with. She is clearly very experienced in the areas we required and we really appreciated her input, particularly in relation to using space super effectively and her choice of colours. Furthermore, her trade discounts with particular suppliers meant that we managed to recoup most of her design fees. We have ended up with some beautiful tiles, light switches and flooring that we would never have chosen (or even been aware of) ourselves. She also worked with a bespoke cabinet maker to design some beautiful bedroom wardrobes which we absolutely love. She did have some strong ideas about what would / would not work which we appreciated as we wanted someone with their own views and who would be frank with us. There were probably a couple of times when Krystyna felt we went a bit safe on our choices, but she compensated well with colours. I would thoroughly recommend Krystyna to anyone taking on a house refurbishment or large project like ours.

Krystyna was the godsend to our loft renovation (including loft bedroom, 2 bathrooms, full set of stairs, and redecorating 2 rooms and halls across 3 floors) I didn't even know I needed! She was an excellent partner in design from the beginning, working hard to understand what I wanted and didn't like even if I didn't know the words but I could tell from pictures! She was detailed, thorough, professional and creative to make the most of our budget, space, and builders. Our family now has a gorgeous living space beyond our dreams and I would highly recommend working with Krystyna for any design project - big or small! This project cost is the total of everything to give a sense of the scope of work done and quality of materials - not just Krystyna's rates which are excellent value.

Krystyna helped me source beautiful tiles for my bathrooms as well as handles and hardware. Krystyna has a wonderful blend of creative enthusiasm and passion for detail, which makes talking through plans and ideas pure joy. She knows what will and won’t work both aesthetically and practically, which saved me both time and money. I wish I had her with me at all times when planning projects and recommend her without hesitation if you would like to take your space to the next level.

StudioK has been fantastic in delivering the results we wanted. The property, purchased as two flats, was converted into its original layout, a family home. We added two bedrooms and a bathroom in the loft and a side return extension on the ground floor. Wit such significant project on hand, it was a real challenge to get everything right. Prior to hiring Studio K, we experienced many u-turns that had effect on completion time as well become costly, something that we really couldn't afford. Unfortunately we weren't immune to these but then, we came across Studio K via personal recommendation. We went for an entire change of existing colour scheme as suggested by Krystyna. As a result, we have achieved the contemporary and 'boutique look' that we were aiming for in the first place. Krystyna also made fantastic changes from lighting to soft furnishings. Apart from the great results, we very much valued Krystyna's patience and understanding of the style we were looking to achieve. She not only delivered the project on time but managed to get us great prices on many of the items purchased- something that should not be underestimated. Krystyna gave excellent advice on the colour palette for my hallways, staircases and kitchen diner. She was easy to work with, very decisive and always happy to listen to any suggestions of mine. I have been commissioned by Krystyna to photograph one of her finished interior projects in London. Krystyna was very easy to communicate with prior to the shoot, always promptly replying to my messages. On the day, the shoot ran efficiently and she was a pleasure to work with. We started working with Krystyna about 3 months ago and it's been fantastic throughout. She re-designed a dark, tiny, oddly shaped en-suite bathroom into a classy, stylish and well-functioning bathroom which even has some storage space now. Her imagination and sense of space is fantastic, she really can vision the end result clearly and gives her all to achieve perfection. Krystyna helped us to find a professional yet affordable building team, is a real pro when it comes to sourcing appliances and negotiating discounts with suppliers, and finds a solution for everything. No surprise then that we already hired her for designing the rest of the flat, which includes moving walls, creating an open plan kitchen, new windows, skylights, colour for all rooms etc. What I enjoy most about working with Krystyna is her no-nonsense attitude. She's super professional and fun to work with, something that doesn't often come together. Finally, she pushes the boundaries of my imagination while respecting our style, so the end-result still feels like us.

What I love about Krystyna is the fact her style is so in keeping with the style/type/age/use of a space or property. She has directed a complete redesign of my studio. I how the space is developing and our members live it too. I have complete trust in Krystyna because she listens and from there she flies! She has managed our redesign and me with complete professionalism and ambition!

We hired Studio K for two jobs. The first was to design our loft space and ensuite bathroom and the second was to revamp our main living room. We were extremely happy with the service that was provided by Krystyna. She is incredibly professional, detail focused and really listened to our wants and needs. Working with Krystyna has added a real sense of wow to the interiors of my beach house. I had some idea of what I wanted but Krystyna was able to really bring them to life and take them to the next level, as well as offering her own suggestions, so that I think there is now a genuine sense of wow to our home. She was brilliant at identifying the exact paint colour shades to use and using paint in interesting ways to add emphasis to the rooms. Krystyna also has a great little black book of where to get things – sourcing beautiful tiles, bathroom furniture and flooring amongst others – which I would never have found otherwise. Krystyna helped us with the interior design of our loft extension, colour consultation for the rest of the house, and sourcing our front door, stair spindles and all windows in the house . She came on board at the very early stage of the loft planning, and consulted on the layout of the two bedrooms and the bathroom. Krystyna is very good with space optimising and storage solutions. She is extremely passionate about what she does and has a focus on quality and longevity, whilst keeping a keen eye on cost to make sure we got value for our money. She saved us a lot of time choosing tiles for the bathroom as she store a lovely, curated sample collection in her garden house. Our bathroom turned out brilliant, I absolutely love it, and the rest of the loft too. I have had the great fortune to work with Krystyna of StudioK since May 2018. From the first moment I spoke to Krystyna she was passionate, supportive and very very honest. Krystyna is very talented in understanding and creating beautiful but also highly functional spaces that are to be lived with, not a show-home. I had never gone through a major redesign or worked with a designer before and was unsure of the process. Krystyna asked me to create a pinterest board and in our first meeting, at my home, asked me questions about these images, what was important, what I liked, disliked and why. From this discussion, my pinterest images and viewing my home Krystyna synthesied this into a highly considered, practical design. The resulting bathroom and ensuite are not only beautiful and functional they are ALL me. However, what Krystyna did is way more than this. In addition to the design Krystyna recommended suppliers, products, tradespeople and communicated high expectations for the work and finishes. Krystyna’s honesty and vision were invaluable during the design and building process, particularly when there are so many choices and decisions that need to be made. I have learnt so much from Krystyna that I feel very confident in tackling future projects and making my home not only more beautiful but one that works for me. Studio K helped create a luxurious and calm space in our loft. First, she worked with our loft builders determining how to best use the space we had. A typical builder will tell you here is where you put the bathroom but putting the door in the right place and finding the right bathroom suite that fit perfectly is crucial in a successful project. She also had a great eye for detail, ensuring all finishing were completed to the highest standard by our builders. Secondly, she provided us with amazing visual design options. We discussed colors and textures we liked and Krystyna went above and beyond sourcing a variety of samples of paint, tiles and carpet. She brought them to our house and showed us all the combinations listening to our feedback. Our loft space space has a dramatic impact when you walk up because of the colors, carpet and lighting that Studio K hand picked. The space would not be the same without Krystyna’s expert eye and design knowledge. Also, she is a lot of fun to work with which makes the whole experience of building works so much more enjoyable.

Krystyna Martin-Dominguez of Studio K has designed, renewed, refreshed and refurbished three spaces in my property - a bathroom, my son's bedroom and most recently the communal hallway. I didn't know what I wanted but I knew what I didn't like (the worst kind of client!). Krystyna has the skills to sift through what you actually need and it happens to be useful, on trend and aesthetically pleasing. She pours her heart, soul and incredible amounts of energy into creating meaningful and beautiful spaces. Krystyna is amazing! We had just purchased our family home and didn’t know where to start with colour schemes, storage solutions and layout. Krystyna quickly got to know us and our needs as a family and came up with a range of designs that we would of never even considered. From start to finish Krystyna dealt with sourcing suppliers speaking with contractors and took away all of the stress. We now have a beautiful home which is functional for family living!
