Katherine has been my decorator and right hand through 2 homes over the past 18 years. Pieces bought back then transitioned well into our new home and have stood the test of time. She has a knack for updating without demolishing the existing decor entirely. A picture perfect Master Bath remodel, a powder room with a wow factor, a living room makeover, a kitchen upgrade and more. I wouldn't begin to design a room with out her. Her eye for design and her fantastic resources for every part of a project made each room design so seamless. We absolutely love everything she has put her hands on in our home! Thank you Katherine!

We have used Katherine to remodel our den, foyer, kitchen and dining room. Katherine was attentive, responsive and conscientious of our concerns and budgets. She met with myself and my wife, sized up our rooms and taste, and then supplied us with a fantastic list of items to furnish and decorate each applicable room. We bought about 90% of what she suggested and managed to stay within our budget. We love spending time in the rooms that Katherine remodeled for us. The bottom line is that Katherine is fantastic to work with. She is organized, professional, and flexible. Katherine made the process of remodeling our home so easy and stress free. She was always completely responsive and really listened to our thoughts and concerns. She has a great eye too and we were very happy with how the projects turned out. We would not hesitate to hire her in the future for bigger projects. In fact, we plan to use Katherine to remodel our master bedroom and bath in the next few months! Katherine is fun to work with and is the consummate professional from start to finish. I hired Katherine Petty in the fall of 2008 to help with the interior and exterior design of the contstruction of our new home in the Northern Neck of Virginia. The entire process took about about a 1 1/2 years. She worked diligently with the local contractor as well as the sub contractors in both the Northern Neck and Northern Virginia. She made the entire building process a wonderful experience. She helped in the decorating, furnishings, floor coverings, lighting, cabinets, paint colors, appliances, tile choices as well as lighting and window treatments and bed coverings. I not only gained a wonderful new home but a friend for life. I would highly recommend her to do any job from beginning construction to a small renovation.
