Kim and Katie are amazing! We did a full-scale remodel top-to-bottom of our entire house. Kim and Katie put together the overall design, connected us with local vendors and assisted during the construction process. Overall, they are extremely creative, knowledgeable and easy to work with - they do not have big egos (and really listen to their clients) although with the beautiful work that they do they should have big egos. They are our go-to boutique design firm in San Diego.

Our decision to hire professional interior design services was an incredibly wise investment. KP Design Studio (KP) had a huge impact on the outcome of our almost-two-year extensive remodel project. KP kept the project moving forward during construction. KP was a pleasure to work with and a relief as well. There were endless decisions that had to be made regarding the exterior of our home as well as the interior. We could rely on KP to help us make those decisions and to offer solutions. All those decisions needed to integrate and impacted the long term effect of the outcome. Their professional preparation is impressive. Our contractor was hesitant to work with a designer. KP has solid construction knowledge. They produced detailed construction drawings for the pockets for the motorized window coverings, which our contractor built. He was impressed and welcomed their input in other areas. He has recommended KP to his other clients. KP provided detailed drawings for the tile layouts in our kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, and on our fireplaces. Each of those areas is unique and noticed, because of the design element. They provided the electrical layout drawings after completing the walk through with us and the electrical contractor. Their furniture layout drawings included the area rug size and placement, as well as the location of the floor plugs. These are a few examples of the many services they provided for us. KP has excellent resources and referrals, which they have carefully selected. This is an important advantage. This saved us time, plus we were assured that the quality of the materials and the quality of the work being completed would be excellent. KP is impeccable in paying attention to the details and in making sure that each project is completed correctly. Their follow through is superb. We had goals for our appointments, which we accomplished, but we also had fun. We welcomed their input when my husband and I didn't agree, which luckily was infrequent. We both trusted KP and agreed to allow their decision to be the final answer. That worked well. We worked with Katie for most of the project and Kim joined us towards the end when she had finished a project. We were impressed with how well they worked together. We have continued to enlist the services of KP. We recently developed a list for wall art sizes and locations and other post-remodel décor touches. Our relationship with them will be ongoing. Our home is not simply a remodel, but it is an incredible statement, because we enlisted the services of KP Design Studio.

They are the best people I have ever worked with. KP has designed two homes for my wife and I. In addition, they have worked on numerous projects with me in Rancho Santa Fe and La Jolla.
